As soon as it was night time I tiptoed down the stairs to the foyer and started unlocking the locks on the door.

I took a few minutes between each one to listen and make sure no one was behind me. Soon I was on the last lock and once it was unlocked I threw open the door and ran for dear life.

I ran even though I didn't know where I was going, I just kept running. But then I tripped over a log and landed face first into a pond. I came up with half a lily pad in my mouth.

Blech.

"Oh, Marie," a creepy unsettling voice sang. A chill went up my spine. "Come out come out wherever you are."

I looked over to see him. I refer to him as him because he's evil. His real name is Lamar but I couldn't care less.

"I see you," three words that scared me so badly. I jumped and turned around to see lamar's face, grinning at me with this evil smile.

"So you tried to escape," he said, the smile still on his face.

"N...no," I stuttered.

"I don't like liars, Marie."

That's all I heard before it went black.
