Chapter 5

Just before I cross the finish line I push on the brakes when I realise that they don't work, I try to stay on but come crashing down when I lose my footing and land on my side, I cry out in pain as I see Dylan running to me through black spots in my vision "Ashley are you alright hun" he says in panick "I'm sleepy D" I start to close my eyes when I feel someone shaking me "don't go to sleep hun OK" I open my eyes " OK D I keep them open for you" I feel my self being lifted and look up "where we going D" he looks at me with a soft expression "to my office hun." We go inside and I look down "sorry D" I say "DONT it wasn't your falt OK ash" I nod when he looks a down at me "told ya, anyway what happened to her" says a voice in a bored tone "none of your fucking business and what do you mean told ya" says Dylan

I don't look up to see who the voice is so I just listen "I mean I told her that she would hardly win the race and that she wouldn't try to run me over but she tryed to run me over and I hopped out the way on time to not get hit and it looks like she didn't even enter the race so, told ya" OK now I can feel Dylan shaking in anger "don't please D don't" I whisper too him while I rest my head on his chest. He nods and walks into his office and sets me down on the couch "hey D what are you looking for" I ask while he is searching for something, "I'm trying to find another first aid box hun, that's what" I lean back but cry out in pain as I feel pain in my side. Dylan runs over to me with another first aid kit, "hun I'm gonna have to ask you to remove your clothes ok, if you need help ask" I nod while he walks out his office. I take my jacket off and shoes and socks but have trouble yo remove my top "DYLAN I NEED HELP" I yell to him but this guy walks in instead of Dylan, " he is not here at the moment he went to get something real quick" I rolls his eyes at me and starts to walk out " hey wait um can you tell me how long he will be gone for" he looks at me "now why would o tell you that, after what happened before" well - wait what, what hapened before crap I didn't say that out loud "wait what happened before" he looks at me with anger swirling in his eyes "you know what happened before you bitch" I look at him with confusion cause I have never met this boy before "um just to get things straight I have never met you before" he whips his head around so fast I thought he might have whiplash "are you fu-" "what the hell I told you not to come in here jay and don't yell at her like a piece of shit" he looks at me and suddenly I have a flash back ' jay with all his friends at school, me being me I was a total bitch to him, I throw a knife at his friends, slam one into a locker and get bitch slaped from the same guy' I'm back to normal and look up to see dylan looking at me worriedly and I look over to jay and realise I forgot about him "why couldn't I just have not of remember you for a little while longer at least" I say softly. Dylan and jay however heard " you what" dylan says while jay just snorts, " yea I forgot who he was until you said jay and I remember everything" they both looked at me shocked and I felt small under their gaze " you actually didn't remember me" jay says still in shock " yea but now I regert ever finding out who you are again" I say and roll my eyes, I look at dylan to see if he is still in shock or not, but he isn't so that's good "um hey dylan, I need your help taking off my shirt " he nods and I look at jay and he has a smirk on his face "what asshole" he just shakes his head "get out now" I say with so much venom in my voice " but I wanna see the view " he says, a smirk slowly rising on his face "Dylan get him out" I look over to dylan and all he dose is nod and walks over to jay and starts to push him out when an excruciating pain comes from my side " Dylan it hurts" I says in between my screams. He stops pushing jay out and runs to me "hun are you alright, we should get you to the hospital" I shake my head "no I'm not going to the hospital Dylan" he looks at jay and tells him to come here and help "what no I'm fi...ow" "your not fine, suck it up for now OK Ashley" I nod my head as Dylan calls jay over " shut the door jay and come help me" he dose what dylan say and comes over "go and get the first aid kid Jay, while I help her with her top" he runs into the next room while Dylan is trying not to hurt me more. Once we finally get my top off there is a lot of black, blue and purple on the side of my body, jay comes back through with the first aid kit in hand "um will this d-" why did he stop his sentence for, I look up to see him staring at me. I scream out in pain again and that snaps Jay out of his daydream and he comes over to stand next to us, I garb hold of Dylan's sholders to keep me up for falling "it hurts D" I say in a whisper "I know hun stay strong OK" I nod and dylan helps me down on the couch and grabs the first aid kit off Jay who is just staring at my stomach " jay I'm gonna need you to hold her hand while I put pressure on her side to see where it hurts more OK" he looks at me and his face stays the same as he nods " no way am I holding his hand D" he puts pressure on my side "ow, OK OK I'll hold his fucking hand" I grab Jays hand while Dylan puts pressure on my side and I squeeze the shiz out of jays hand "ow, you bitch, you did that on purpose" "no it fucking hurts as hell yo-OWWW D THAT HURTS!" I scream the last part of my sentence. "You just need rest its just a couple of broken ribs hun, your staying here or with me for a while and not at your house OK" I look at him like his crazy " are you nuts I can't I have to go home or he will use, the bat" I whisper the last part in Dylan's ear. I look over to see that jay is still standing there "what do you want jay a fucking prize, get out" I say to jay " um, just asking, but what happened to you" I look at Dylan as jay looks at us " I fell off my bike near the finish line cause someone cut my brakes ok, happy now, rub it in my face do what ever you want just get out and leave me alone" I yell at him out of frustration. He walks out and I turn around to dylan "I'll stay here OK let me just get a few things from home OK D" he looks at me as if I'm insane "are you crazy ash, no I'm not letting you back there, not until your healed" I sigh cause I got things to grab for tomorrow "what about my computer and my school stuff" it looks like he going to give in "fine but I want you back here in 20 minutes OK no longer or I'm coming for you" I give him a gental hug and whisper "I'll be carful OK and I'll ring you if I'm stuck or anything OK D don't worry I'm a big girl" he nods and I walk back out of the bar "fuck how am I supposed to get there and back without my bike" I say to myself I walk back in and try to fine dylan but can't " fuck it, im hot wiring his car" I go to Dylan's car and open the door since he never locks his car and start to hot wirer his car. I finally manage to do it and get in to the driver seat and once I look up I see Jay staring at me, what now, I drive past him and go home to garb my stuff.
