Hey y'all.
I know it's been forever since I posted on this story, and honestly it's been killing me.
This is the only fanfic SERIES I've ever done and I've come to love their story.
However, I've been having a major problem continuing this story. At first, I thought it was just writer's block, but I write other fics just fine. Then I realized my problem was thay I've written myself into a corner. I fell into the same trap a lot of Spider-Man movies fell into.
That being overcrowding.
After rereading it, I noticed what an ungodly amount of characters I put in. And honestly, I just wanted to see how the characters would interact. But everything I wanted to do with the story was in future projects and I had to figure out how to get it there.
So, I've been thinking of discontinuing this version and rewriting it to be more concise and honestly, probably more compelling. I was still gonna keep Mayday as a major part of the story, but far less of the supporting cast, except in passing. Making Peter, Raven, and Mayday more of a central part of the story.
I gotta remind myself, I'm not writing a comic book, I'm writing a fanfiction. Lol
I would still leave this one posted, just because I don't believe in deleting works that people have already started reading. That feels kinda rude, ngl.
And I'd probably rename this one to something like Spider-Man X Raven: Discontinued.
But I wanna know what yall think. I know we've gotten really far into this one, but that's kinda part the problem, I feel like.
So, should I rewrite it? What's Y'all's vote?
