The Collector

Steven decided that today he felt like some delicious donuts from The Big Donut. Since his hunger was getting the best of him he knew he couldn't fight with his stomach any longer. So he decided to me the journey to The Big Donut. The day was like any other day sun shinning brightly down upon the peaceful Beach City. Birds flying wistfully across the blue sky, and the smell of burnt meats from a barbecue.

Steven had finally arrived at The Big Donut where he was greeted by Sadie, however; Lars appeared not to be preset.

"Hello Steven," Sadie said in a cheerful manner.

"Hi Sadie, umm where is Lars."

"He's taking another sick day today," Sadie said in a dubious tone.

"OH NO, I hope he gets better soon...but can I have 2 donuts please."

"Yeah sure."

Sadie grabbed two donuts put them in a paper bag and gave them to Steven.

"Here you go Steven."

"Thank you very much."

Steven had walked out of The Big Donut with huge excitement because he got 2 donuts because one is for his dad he couldn't wait to eat donuts with his dad. The thought of it was rushing through Stevens head, all the excitement was killing Steven so he sprinted as fast as he could to his dear old dads car wash.

"Hey dad I got donuts," Steven yelled

Greg at the moment was trying to fix his old van and he wasn't having much luck, so when he saw Steven a giant smile grew on his face.

"Steven you didn't have to get donuts."

"Yes I did. Your my dad why wouldn't I give you a donut."

Greg smiled and gladly took one of the donuts.

"So Steven how have you..." Gregs sentence was quickly interrupted by a loud BOOM sound Steven knew where it was coming from.

"Oh no, that's sounds like it's coming from the temple I got to hurry. Bye dad," Steven had shouted as he ran towards the temple.

Steven continued to run but noticed how there was no more boom or bang or any kind of noise coming from the temple, and when he reached the temple it looked like nothing even happened. But Steven knew something was wrong so he cautiously creaked up the stairs to the front door. When he reached the top of the stairs Pearl came crashing through the wall.

Pearl yelled, "Steven you got to leave."

"Why I want to help."

"Steven it's to dangerous you have to go."

Then a man charged at Pearl stabbing her in the chest while she was looking at Steven forcing her to retreat into her gem.

"PEARL," Steven shouted in fear.

The man grabbed Pearls gem and examined it for a second and then opened a bag. Steven gasped when he saw what lies in that bag which was more gems. He was about to put Pearl in the bag, but Garnet and Amethyst attacked him knocking him into the sand.

The man echoed, "So close. Hehe fine you win for now but I will be back soon to retrieve all your gems"

The man was tall pretty muscular and
He wears a gold belt and black and blue cloths that are very clean and covers his entire body besides his face, he had blue eyes, and red hair

Amethyst had stated, "Wow that was rough."

"Who was that and why does he want our gems," Steven asked in extreme confusion.
