There is a simple peace at 6 o'clock in the morning on a Saturday.

You can see the sun peek over the roofs of the neighbours houses. The awaiting bikes, skipping ropes and soccer balls waiting to be played with by young children.

I would ask my mother to wake me up with her every time. We would sit on the balcony all wrapped up in warm blankets as she drank her steaming cup of black coffee and I drank my sugary hot chocolate.

The simplicity of this moment with my mother gives me eternal joy. Just being able to dive into a world of beauty at the break of dawn. Perfect.
