"Awww thanks Alyshia!"
"Blow out the candles Squishy!"
"Okay okay!" It was all dark since the 5 candles on the small cake was the only thing lighting up the room.
"Wait! I got it!" I turned the light on and it seems like both of us went to reach for the light switch; we ended up facing each other super close.
"Happy birthday Squishy!!" She softly pecked my lips.
"Do you know what day it is tomorrow Squishy?"
"Hmm?"
"Tomorrow is when the star that comes every 200 years visits."
"Oh yeah. I've heard about that." I have no idea what she's talking about.
"And when it comes, you can make a wish!"
"What's your wish Alyshia?"
"My wish? Hm... Maybe to stay with you forever Squishy."
"Then... I'll wish to stay with you forever."
"Maybe that way, I will stay with you forever, Squishy."
"You say that like you won't..."
"No no. I don't have some disease or anything like that. It's okay. This isn't a sad drama."
"Good." We both laughed.
"Let's open your present now!" I left my friends to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend only for today. Tomorrow we'll celebrate my birthday.
"Yay! I like presents!"
"Here!" She handed me the present and it was a big box wrapped with wrapping paper that had our photo as a collage.
"Oh come on Kyungsoo just open it."
"Okay okay." I opened the present carefully while trying not to wreck the wrapping paper as much.
"There's another box?" After I opened the big box, there was a tiny box inside.
"Open it." She said and so I did.
"You like it?"
"More like I love it."
"I'm so happy you love it."
"How did you know I've always wanted this watch?"
"Because you're my Squishy."
