Chapter 3: Do I like him?
Christina's POV
I woke up to my phone ringing. "Who in the hell is calling me! It's freaking 10:30am! and a Saturday!" (everbody who knows me knows that I don't like to wake up early and that I'm not a morning person) I searched around for my phone franticaly until I found it entagled in the bottom of the sheets I shrugged, who knows how it got there. It was a unknown number I threw it back on the bed, but picked it up again and answered it anyway. B=Brian C=Christi
C: Yep?
B: Christina? Did I call at a bad time?
C: Oh hey! no of course not, what's up?
B: Oh well I was uh wondering if you wanted to um like get lunch or hang out today? or play videos games, dance, I dont know, what do girls do?
C: I laughed at Brian's uneasy awkwardness. Sure, that'd i great, what time?
B: Oh good. I'll pick you up at 2?
C: See you then!
I hung up and smiled. I went and took a shower and put on a cute outfit. When I walked into my living room I saw Sarah sitting there texting "Who you textin?" Sarah dropped her phone on the carpet and said uhh no one.. "Why are you up so early? I've never seen you up this early and happy about it." Sarah said changing the subject "Oh, someone called me and woke me up and I have to go somewhere at 2 so I got ready." I said trying to play it cool and hide my excitement. Is this somebody a boy.....? Sarah teased. Yes!! I ditched the not excited act. "Is this somebody named .... Briiannn?" Yess!! "Ohh! someones got a date!... and your wearing that?" I glared at Sarah, she's such a girly girl. "Yeah I don't wanna overdue it, plus were just hanging out." "Just hanging out" Sarah mocked. "you know what 'hanging out' always leads to.. right?" Eww Sarah no I said laughing.
At 2 Brian picked me up, as promised. He opened the car door for me like a gentleman. "You look pretty Christi" "Thanks" I could feel my cheeks getting red, Oh. my. god. he said I looked pretty, is this a date? Should I have worn a dress? Oh dear I thought. So you go to school? Brian asked looking over at me. Yeah, for business managment. "Whats that?" I really dont know... I'm not a grown up yet, ok? We laughed. We went and had lunch at a sandwich shop and went to Brians house. We spent the whole day playing video games, talking and kid movies. The last time I looked at the clock it was 3am and Brian had feel asleep on my shoulder while we were watching Doctor Who. I couldn't tell if he had really fell asleep on my shoulder on accident or on purpose. Either way, I didnt mind. I rested my head on his and feel asleep too. In the morning we woke up to the tv making loud sounds, We both sat up quickly, embarressed. I moved my hand out from under my leg and Brian stood up. "Oww" I said. "You ok?" Yeah my hand just fell asleep and it hurts really bad. Brian yawned and took my hand and kissed it lightly, Better? He said smiling. I laughed Yes, incredibly. I got butterflies in my stomach, really Christi? he just kissed your hand.... "Want breakfast" Naw I have to go help my friend Maddy. "Oh well see you on Tuesday?" You can count on it! Brian gave me a ride to Maddy's house and gave me a hug. When I walked inside Maddy goes "so, who's the guy?" A friend. would you like him to be more than a friend? I felt like I was being interrogated. I shrugged. "I dunno" I realized I didn't know if I liked Brian or not. I mean he was cute and nice.. but I don't know.. "Well do you get a 2nd date?" Were all hanging out on Tuesday so I guess so. "Am I invited?" Sure. "Yay! well if you don't take him I will be more than willing to take him" Mkay. The thought of Maddy and Brian made me shiver, I didn't like it.. at all. But I didn't like him, so why should I care?
