*Louis' POV*

No wonder the girls absolutely adored Harry. He was perfect. I'd never even thought about the flowers and my sister sharing a name. At least not enough to pick them for her.

And seeing Harry let himself be taken to see Daisy's collection was one of the sweetest things I'd ever seen.

Phoebe sat down next to me on the couch.

"What's wrong, Louis? " she asked

"Nothing. Just thinking." I smiled, raising my arm to let her cuddle in closer, before putting it around her shoulders.

"Liar. There is something wrong. I can tell because you get a funny look on your face whenever Harry's playing with us."

"I do not."

"You do too! Are you happy he's here? Why do you get the sad look?"

"It's not a sad look, Phoe. I just think it's sweet of him. That's all. And yes, I'm very happy he's here."

"Do you like him, Louis?" She asked

"Of course I like him, he's my best friend. Like Stan. Except I can't see Stan as much."

"No, Louis. You also don't want to see Stan as much as you want to see Harry. I mean do you like like Harry?"

"Wha - Why do you think I do?" I said, my voice calm.

Inside I was freaking out. Was it that obvious?

"Because you look at him like you don't look at anyone else. Like you love him." Phoebe looked up at me with innocent, questioning eyes

"I love a lot of people, Phoe. I love you. I love Fizzy, Daisy, Lottie, Georgia, Mum."

"Not like that. I won't tell anyone if you do like like Harry."

"I don't." I denied it

"Whatever you say, Louis." She kissed my cheek, "I love you either way, you know."

"Yeah." I nodded, "I know."

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna go play. But answer me later, okay?"

I nodded again.

Phoebe got up and went to her room. I stood too, and went to mine, closing the door behind me.

Harry was inside before I could even sit on my bed.

"Are you okay?" He asked

"The door give it away?" I asked

"Yeah. I was coming in anyways to let you know dinner's ready. "

"Okay." I nodded, letting him help me up.

We walked out and I silently thanked God that I had my mum. She was an angel.

The table was piled high with all kinds of food. I was also silently glad that we were the weirdos that decided to try Thanksgiving this year. It was an American holiday. But this looked amazing.

And it was an excuse for me to come home.

"Woah. I know they make a big deal out of Thanksgiving and stuff in America, but now I see why." Harry said, echoing my thoughts

"Uh huh." I nodded

"Johanna. You are the most perfect woman alive, you know that? " Harry looked up, awed

"See girls? I told you that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. "

"I could kiss you right now." He grinned at my mum

"I think I'll pass, Harry." She laughed

"I'll take it." Lottie looked over

"Not a chance, little sister." I sat down, pulling out a chair for Harry next to me.

"I second that." My mum shot a look at Lottie

"Hey, worth a shot." Lottie shrugged, dishing herself up.

Once we all had food, Fizzy piped up.

"Aren't we supposed to say two things we're thankful for before we eat?" She asked

"I completely forgot. Take it away, Fizzy." My mum smiled

When it reached Daisy, who was after Fizzy and Lottie, she shot Harry a secret smile.

"I'm thankful for Harry because he is himself. And I'm thankful he can be here." She said softly

Phoebe added her bit directly after.

"I'm thankful that we did Thanksgiving because Louis got to come home. And I'm thankful that Harry isn't a snob like some boys and that he will play with us."

It was Harry's turn, then mine, then my mum's.

"I'm thankful that I have an amazing of a person as Louis in my life. I'm also thankful that he has an equally amazing family." Harry looked into my eyes

I looked back into his and smiled.

After a pause, Daisy nudged me with her foot under the table. 'Your turn.' She mouthed

"I -uh.. I lost my train of thought, there." I shook my head to clear it, looking away from Harry, "I'm thankful that Harry's family temporarily abandoned him so he could come, and I'm, like Phoe, thankful we did this. I'm glad for an excuse to come back."

"Mum?" Lottie looked at her expectantly

"I'm thankful that I get to see Louis. And that I get to see Harry. Now, let's eat." She finished

"Short and sweet. I like it." Fizzy laughed, digging in

Once we were all full, Harry and I got assigned to half dishes duty. Lottie and mum would get the other half.

I was washing, and Harry was drying. I filled the sink with soapy water, on top of the dishes there.

We washed and dried in silence for a while.

"Did you mean it?" I finally asked

"Mean what?" He looked up

"That you think my family and I are amazing? "

"It's no secret that I absolutely, completely think you are.. the most awe- inspiring person I've ever met. I can't find a word to describe how much I look up to you. You're my hero, Louis. And your family is.. they're just amazing. I can't describe any of it." He looked away

"We can talk later, okay?" I looked up

"Okay." He nodded

We finished washing dishes and then I dragged him up to my room.

"Sit. Talk." I pushed him onto my bed.

"Louis, what's up with you and Eleanor? " he asked

"What? Nothing. Management hired her, remember? I told you about this. We have to fake a relationship. "

"And it's all fake?" He asked

"Of course. Why?"

"I just saw some pictures .."

"Those? Harry. They make us kiss. And act in love. I like someone else."

"Oh.. who?"

"If I could, I would tell you."
