So, after last night I was really tired and started crying in my room because Shawn and everybody left to go out and didn't invote me. I wouldn't have minded if I had woken up on my birthday with all my friends but I didn't. Everyone was still gone and it made me really upset. I didn't really do anything except watch Netflix all day. At around 5 o'clock I ended falling asleep. I hadn't even gotten dressed so I was still in one of Shawn's shirts (He left it here after he slept in my room the one time) and a pair of sweat pants.

2 hours passed and I went downstairs to go get dinner. As I hit the last stair somebody came up behind and put their hand over my eyes. I was led into another room where the person uncovered my eyes. It was Shawn.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! They all shouted. It was perfect. They had a marble cake and made Tacos for dinner. My favorite.

"Sorry we haven't been home at all today but we were planning everything and buying you gifts. Which you have a lot of. Mostly from Shawn and I but everybody got you a few things. I love you Melody. You are my child and Shawn has been spending more time with you than I have and I'm sorry." Nash was going on and on aboit how sorry he was until I jumped on his and covered his mouth. I then gave him a hug and said it was alright.

"I've actually kind of had fun with Shawn. I really like him. Do I have permission to date him if he asks me?" I whispered in his ear and he nodded his head yes slowly.

Shawn came over and picked me up off Nash's back and hugged me. "I really like you too" he whispered. Wait, how'd Shawn know what I told Nash? Did Nash tell him? I was thinking to myself.

He carried me into the living room where there were tons of boxes and the two girls. "Happy Birthday Mel! Love you! Sorry for not being here all day. What did you do all day?"

"Uhmm, Netflix and Ice-Cream..... I was a lazy fat person all day.. haha.. Yeah.. I was really bummed out today."

"Oh.. We're sorry.. But we're here now. You're going to have the best birthday ever! We hope." Kamri says as she throws a pillow at me. We all end up laughing and as we calm down Nash brings me one of the small boxes. It was a pretty M necklace. After about a half an hour all the presents were opened and it was awesome! I had turned 16 today. Since I didn't have many friends I didn't have a party and we just watched movies in the basement all night. And then Shawn jumps at around 9 o'clock.

"Oh! Nash! We forgot about Melody's big gift from us all!" He jumps up, picks me up, and runs through the basement door with me. He waits until everybody's in the fronts of house and carries me with my eyes closed. He puts me down, uncovers my eyes and shows me my 'Big gift'. It's a car! It's a black 2015 Honda NSX. It was the car I had told Nash I wanted for a while.

I turned around and hugged Shawn. He lifted me up so I could wrap my arms around his shoulders and wrapped my legs around his waist. He looked into my eyes and, he kissed me.
