Is it true?" Myra Strangewood asked as she welcomed Minerva McGonagall into her home.

"It is. Albus Dumbledoor confirmed it. The dark lord is gone, but the price was difficult to pay." Said Minerva McGonagall as she took a seat.

"Price?" said Evan Strangewood as he walked towards his wife, Myra.

"Oh dear, no one has told you?" Minerva replied with sorrow in her voice.

"Told us what?" said Myra with concern.

"You may want to sit down" Minerva said as the couple sat across from her. "I know you two were close friends with the Potters, but they were in danger. Sirius Black gave them up to You-Know-Who. Black murdered Peter Pettigrew in the most horrible way and the Potters gave their life protecting their son Harry Potter." Her voice quivered towards the end.

At that moment they knew that Harry Potter would be known among all wizards. Even if the dark lord came back he, Harry Potter, would be able to stop him. They knew that their daughter would be safe now with You-Know-Who gone. The Strangewood's believed he wasn't dead and that he would come back. still made the Strangewoods uneasy. Why would Sirius Black do that? They too were close to Black and trusted him like the Potters did.

Two of their best friend were dead, another one was a murderer, and the only sane one was the godfather of their daughter.

Minerva left soon after and wished the Strangewood safety. Both Evan and Myra had mixed emotions and thoughts about tonight. You couldn't blame them. So many things has happened to them lately and Myra was pregnant with her second child and they were hoping for a boy.

They knew that their daughter was destined to be a great wizard, but they fear to lose her if the dark lord ever comes back. Katie will go to Hogwarts one day and there is a good chance that she will get in Gryffindor.

They decided not to think too much on the future. They went to Katie's nursery and they kissed her good night. They felt blessed to have such a wonder daughter. She was their light.
