Miles • Chapter 1

CHAPTER ONE

Today was the first day of school and Miles had to be dressed to a T. Its crucial that he looked his best seeing that his mother and father always told him to dress to impress. He dressed in his tan Sperry's, his blue Levi's and his pink Polo shirt. He brushed his teeth, cleaned his face and put activator on his hair so it would curl.

After taking 30 long minutes in the bathroom, his sister rushed inside without knocking and bumped him over so she could use the bathroom. He mugged the side of her head as she stared at his reflection in the mirror.

"What nigga"!! She exclaimed at his reflection. Bucking at him a couple times and he smiled, which resulted in her smiling also. "Have a good day at school little sister". He stated slapping hard against the back of her kneck, making her wince.

"Rude ass". She mumbled but Miles heard her. Miles walked into his room to grab his Nike bag, that contained all his track athletic equipment for this afternoon. They usually just had practice seventh hour but so many students fail to get their schedule changed before it was too late. Miles being one of those students.

Miles casually went to the kitchen and grabbed a pop tart from the cabinet and grabbed his keys from off the hook on wall by the front door and quickly left out the house. Locking the door behind him, Miles quickly walked down the street to his bus stop.

Miles waited for the bus, sitting on the curb, as he scrolled thru his IG newsfeeds. Suddenly he heard the all too familiar sound of the squeaking of the bus. It came to a sudden stop in front of him as he stood up and grab his athletic bag. He stepped on as the loud noise of high schoolers greeted him.

After he found his seat, he pulled out his Dre Beats, plugging it up, the loud bumping music blocked out the noise. Soon after the bus took off to another bus stop and then soon coming to an end in front of their school Eastview Academy High School.

Miles walked into his first hour and sat in the back section of the classroom. His English IIII class didn't have a teacher yet, so everybody just chilled and caught up, as the substitute talked on her phone loudly.

"Yass gurl lil Pookie was cute as fuck last night"she laughed loudly. Miles couldn't stand a loud mouth girl. Especially in the morning. Miles then felt a tap on his shoulder and a phone was pushed into his face. Miles erupted in laughter at the photo in front of him. It's was a comparison picture of Slim Jesus and Caillou.

" See told you he looked like him Miles ", Tiara stated proudly. Miles nodded his head and looked her up and down. She looked cute with her hair down. Miles thought to his self. "What you doing after school", he asked pausing his music on his Android phone.

" Shid nothing really, why"? "No reason just asking, I was gon go to the mall and then go running", Miles said shrugging. " Now boy you know I like to shop", Tiara said excitedly. Miles should have know, I mean they have been friends since freshman year.

"Mhmm so you coming"? "As long as you got the whip today, then I'm coming. Because last time that Uber driver almost raped me", she said with a straight face.

Miles chuckled, "Girl chill he didn't even touch you and if he even tried I would have beat his ass". " See that's why I fucks with you, go best friend that's my best friend that's my best friend ", Tiara sang dancing. " You Betta You Betta", Miles said in a Trey Songz voice.

The dismissal bell rang above them and everybody filed out of class and to their second hour. "Aight then Blood", Tiara said throwing up a B with her hand. "Chill the fuck out, you know the only B we say is blue", he said making a C with his hand, smiling. Tiara waved him off with a mug and walked in a different direction towards her second hour. Miles headed in the other direction.
