Will's smile fades slowly, until he frowns at the look on my face.
"Are you okay?" Will asks, concerned.
I snap my head back towards him, forcing a smile.
"Yeah, sorry. Please continue," I answer.
"Tell me what's bothering you," he insists, looking me in the eyes.
I suck in my cheeks before finally responding, "I just miss Gingy."
"Oh," He whispers.
After a pause he asks, "Do you want to talk about it?"
I take a deep breath before answering, "No, it's fine. I'm fine. Please, continue your story."
He looks down at his fingers, then back up at me.
Then he opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out.
After a few minutes of awkward silence he finally says, "So you really love him?"
I just nod, feeling tears at the corner of my eyes.
He looks into my eyes before leaning in and pecking my cheek.
I stand there in shock, and reach my hand up to where his lips had been.
A bell rings as he leaves the store.
