Chapter fourteen

"Brook wake up were in Anaheim," mom says shaking me.

"REALLY?" I yell. I guess I fell asleep on the ride. I open up Twitter and tweet hello yes Anaheim it is me Brook. I then take out my vlogging camera and start filming myself.

"Hey guys it's Brook and its day one of Vidcon! So after this two-" my mom cuts me off by correcting me.

"Three," she says.

"Okay, three hour long car ride, that I was asleep for, we're here! I'm so excited! So I know bee is coming later in the afternoon with straub, but everyone else is there because they either got there early this morning or last night," I say.

"So I'll vlog more when I get to the hotel," I say and stop my recording.

We get to the hotel and my mom checks me in. She offers to bring up my bag so I can go meet up with my friends.

"Thanks mom you're the best!" I say and hug her. "Love you! See you in a week!" I say and give her a kiss on the cheek. She faintly says love you too, and I text Graser.

Hey where are you guys?

Upstairs in mine, rushers, straub, and grapes room everyone's here

Okay shhh don't tell the boys I'm coming

I head to the elevator and go to floor 5, it was the same floor everyone was on, including bee and I.

I pull out my camera and I walk down the hallway.

"So everyone's in one of the boys room, so I'm heading there now!" I say.

"Aha! Found it," I say to my camera.

I knock on the door and step to the side. I hear the boys fighting about who has to get it and then graser calls them lazy fucks.

He opens the door and I hold up my index finger to my mouth. He smiles and pulls me into a hug.

"Graser who is it?" Brayden yells.

"Some fan," Graser says.

"Excuse me?" I say blowing my cover.

"BROOK?!" Brayden asks. I walk into the room and all the boys come to hug me.

Once the big group hug is over I don individual hugs. First it was Will, then Jordan, then Graser again, h, parker, tybzi, grape, Brayden, Ryan, poke, tofu, Dfield, and a couple others.

"So Brook (a/n do you guys know this YouTuber ?? Lol she's cool (her yt is soobrooke)) who gives the best hugs?" Graser asks.

"Don't make me choose," I say. "All of you give rocking hugs."

We all just kind of chill and talk about how everyone's travels were.

"HEY BEE JUST TEXTED ME THAT HER AND STRAUB LANDED AND ARE IN A TAXI DRIVING HERE SO THEY'LL BE LIKE 15 MINUTES!" I cheer.

"My boy straub," Brayden says.

"And your girl Brook," Graser jokes.

"Wanna go bud?" Brayden says flexing his arm muscles.

"Wait, hold up, your girl?" Will says with a protective tone.

"Yeah, your girl? She's my girl!" Jordan says making a kissy face and raising his eyebrows. I laugh and then I laugh even harder when will hits him and tells him to cut it out.

"A couple weeks ago," grape says telling the backstory. "Graser, Brook straub and I were in a call when rusher came in. Rusher being rusher he yells "my boys". Brook's like excuse you, and he's like with out thinking "oh sorry my boys and my girl" and so you better watch out Jordan," grape finishes.

Brayden's face flushes red which makes me smile. He smiles back and that's all I can focus on.

"Brook? Brook?" I hear Graser say.

"Oh sorry, what was that?" I say.

"How far away are they?" Graser asks.

"I'm they're here at the hotel!" I yell while looking at my phone. I'll tell them we're up in straubs room," I say starting to text it.

"Tell bee not to tell straub we're all in here though!" Poke says.

"True fam, let's hid," I say.

Most of us go into the bathroom, some in the closet, but they're all filled and I don't have anywhere to go.

"Brook," I hear someone whisper from below me. I squat down and see grape under the bed, and joe under the other. "Come here," he moves over I lay down and roll under the bed.

"We'll be like ninja turtles when we roll out and stand up," I say to him. Our faces are inches away and I can feel his breath on my face. He chuckles at my comment.

"More like transformers, but ninja turtles works too I guess," he says with a smile. His smile causes me to smile. God, is there a single cube member who doesn't have a perfect smile.

Oh yeah. Me.

The door knob turning snaps me out of my thoughts.

"I love California," I hear bee say.

"Did Brook tell you where everyone is?" Straub asks. "I can't wait to see every-"

All of a sudden Graser yells out "NOW!" Everyone jumps out, well other than grape and I, we roll.

Straub yells and we all gather into a group hug. Afterwards I go straight to bee.

The hug feels so rewarding. After months of not being able to do this, it felt so good to have her in my arms.

They go around and hug everyone again and soon we're all calmed down.

"What do you guys want to do?" H asks.

"Let's play truth or dare," straub suggests.

"I'm down," I say. A couple other people agree.

"Should we live stream it?" Bee suggests.

"Yeah let's ask the fans for dares," Dfield says. I cringe at the word fan and I notice grape kind of does too.

"Everyone tweet #cubeAtVicdcon and ask for dares," Graser says.

"Yes master g," tybzi says.
