After about 10 minutes the woman asked us if we were going to make a decision.
"Actually yes, you said you were okay with this right?"
"Right." I mumbled nervously.
"Alright, follow me. Are you both 18?"
"Well, um,-"
"Look kid, I really don't care if you're 12, as long as I get paid."
I gawked at the woman but nodded my head in understanding."Good. Now that we understand each other let's get to it."
Ray stepped in front of me and followed the lady.
"Okay, my name's Shay and I will not be your artist." She smiled widely at me and an evil glint passed across her eyes. "That would be Slitter. Oh, don't you worry sweetie, it's only gonna hurt a lot."
"Shay! Are you scaring my customers again?"
A tall man covered in tattoos suddenly appeared and glared down at us, causing every ounce of Shay's cockiness to disappear.
"Oh no sir, absolutely not. I'm so sorry sir-"
"Shay, go back to your desk and don't bother anymore of my cliental."
"Yes sir." She hurried away with her head down. The man shook his head and turned his firey gaze to me and Blake. He smiled, face softening, and apologized for his harsh behaviour. He then held a hand out to me.
"Name's Slitter, and don't worry little miss I'll make this as painless as possible. What's your name son?"
He asked as he turend to face Ray.
"I'm Raymond and this is my girlfriend Kelsey, nice to meet ya Slitter." I sheepishly smiled at his words, his girlfriend Kelsey.
"So, what are ya want'n done?"
"I'm glad you asked." He smiled happily and explained quietly in the mans ear what he was going to have done to me. After arguing for five minutes with Ray earlier he and I finally decided that he could choose the tattoo, now he won't tell me what it is. The man chuckled and muttered something that sounded like "young love... so freaking adorable."
"Okay seetheart, take your shirt off."
"Wait what?" I glared at Ray as he laughed.
"You heard me!" Ray exlaimed, Slitter was holding back his laughter and looked up at the ceiling.
"Don't worry Kelsey, you only have to show me your back."
"My back?"
"Yes sweetie, you just sit down on that chair there and make yourself comfortable while I go whip something up for you and your boyfriend and I'll be right back." He walked away before I could argue and the next thing I know Ray is trying to take off my sweater. I slapped him on the wrist and took a step away from him. He chuckled at the red glow that came to my cheeks.
"I can take off my own shirt." I blushed darker at how odd that sounded ankd took off my sweater, leaving me in my tank top. I shivered from the cold and sat down, moving my hair across my neck.
"Is that enough?"
"Nope."
"Ray!" He moved my tank top in a weird position, lifting it to where it became more of a crop top and leaving my entire left shoulder bare.
"Oh good, you're ready." Slitter came back in and told me I was going to feel something cold on my shoulder.
"Good Lord! Yes, that is very cold!" The goosebumbs that spread across my body were an immediate and unwanted reaction. Laughter filled the air.
"Raymond, I swear to God if that's you laughing I'm gonna leave." The laughter stopped and a darker shade of laughter began, I guess that was Slitter.
