CHAPTER 3

Chris decided to take Heather's advice and so he started with the police. When he was walking down the street he ran into a female policewoman. Angie always said Chris was so handsome, that he could get any woman he wanted.

Chris didn't want this woman but, he had to do what he had to do. He walked up to the woman, "Hi, my name is Chris. My best friend Angie, was kidnapped by a man and she left behind this note." Chris handed the note to the officer, "I was wondering if you could help me find her?."

After the lady read the note she introduced herself, "My name is officer Emily, but you can just call me Emily, and yes I will help you find your friend. Where does she live?"

"On the streets" Chris replied.

"Oh"

"Is there a problem?" Chris asked.

"No, it's just that the streets are filled with drug dealers, hookers, killers, and rapers, so she could be dead by now, cause it looks like this note was written awhile back." Explained Emily.

"The hospital has received a call from Angie, the one on the news this morning. Anyway we traced the call and the call leads to a hotel." Tucker said.

"Which hotel?"

"Saturday Inn."

"I'm on it." Emily replied on her Walkie talkie. "We'll there you go, we found your friend"

Chris rode in the car with Emily to the Saturday Inn hotel.

"What are you going to do with Angie once you find her?" Chris asked

"I have to arrest her for robbing the bank."

"She stole it to help her mother!"

"It was a wrong thing to do."

They finally arrived at the hotel. They walked to the front desk. "Hi, I'm officer Emily and this is Chris. Has a girl named Angie signed in?"

"Ya, their in room number 21."

"Thanks"

Chris and Emily walked around until they found room 21

Tom peeked outside to see if they could sneak out without paying for the room they stayed in. While he was looking outside he saw a cop car. "We have to go!" Tom yelled.

"Why?" asked Angie.

"There's a cop car outside."

They heard a knock on the door. "Open up or I'll kick the door down!!" Emily yelled.

   Angie hurried up and hid in the closet. "What are you doing?!" asked Tom.

"What does it look like, I'm hiding."

     Tom decided to open the door. "Hi, does a girl named Angie stay here?"

"No."

"Do you mind if we take a look?" Chris asked.

"Nope" Tom stepped aside to let them in.

    While Chris was looking and Emily was questioning Tom, they heard a noise from the closet. Emily got out her gun and slowly headed for the closet.

  Once she opened it, she saw Angies sitting in the corner. She slowly stood up, then she jolted for Chris as soon as she made eye conact with him. She gave him a big bear hug and said, "I missed you so much. How is my mom?"

"She's hanging in there" he replied....(To be continued)
