"On your right Eric!" Blaire shouted.
Eric was saved from a flying axe.
"Blaire go ride the horse and save your life. There's no time for a girl to be here."
The battle was worse than expected. Blood splashes from side to side, leaving bloodstains on
everybody's face.
"No Eric! I won't leave. Not like this. We'll fight... together,'' Blaire said while dodging attempts of
punch.
In the wide battlefield, only a few are still standing with enough strength. Almost everyone bent
on their knees, striving to stand again and fight, while others are losing power and dying. Arrows
fly on different directions and balls of fire made the castle burning.
On a distance, Philip saw Blaire fighting with her might. He saw Blaire's eyes, fierce and kind that
he remembered Queen Catherine. Her courage is overflowing, but humility keeps her from
drowning. She will do anything to save her people...
"We can't let this happen, Raymond," Queen Catherine said, with face worried.
"What about our people? What's going to happen to them?"
King Raymond replied, "Our people are my concern, and we must find a way on how to defend
this kingdom. Besides, this is ours; this land was made fruitful by my ancestors. No one shall
claim this!"
Queen Catherine is leaning from the window looking down at the people, with sadness in her face.
Seeing this, King Raymond comforted her- wrapped his arm around her, "We'll do everything to
save our kingdom and for the future of our baby. We've been longing for this and we promised to
give her everything." King Raymond held Queen Catherine's hands.
The queen will give birth soon and the baby's baptism will be very grand and festive.
