This is a story about how I started my new life, and it wasn't always the best.
My name is Skylar Wolfblood and this is my story.
I was a normal person. I went to school, had a few friends that were always there when I needed them, and had a pretty good life. I also tried to make other friends, but I would just end up talking to my original friends, or end up talking to my teachers that actually allowed me to rant to them. As far as I'm concerned that qualified as a pretty good life.
One day when I was talking to one of my favorite teachers, Clements. He was a guy about 5'6" and always dressed as formal as possible. He also always had his hair up in a mo-hawk and the most gorgeous brown eyes that I have ever seen. Anyway when talking to him I received a text saying that I needed to stay away from the teachers that I cared about so much. The number was blocked, so I was kind of worried about who it was from. I looked around the teacher offices or for anyone that was looking at me. Nobody was, so I just brushed it off. Not really a big deal, but that was before I knew something would change my life forever.
The next day, I went through the day as usual. I went through all my classes and then when it came to my off-hour I went to go talk to Clements again. I also told my mom that I had something for theater, which I did, that would last until eight that night, so I would just get a ride home across the street since she didn't want me walking alone at night. Anyway I went to his office and I saw him at his desk, talking on the phone. I decided to wait in the next room on one of the couches they had. There was no one else there, so I just put in music to calm my nerves. I fell asleep not too long after. I woke up in a dark area, but I then realized I was blind folded. I was also tied to a chair. I tried to listen to what was around me but there was nothing.
After waiting, for what seems like forever, a door opened, and I heard footsteps. As they proceeded to get louder, I had a chill run down my spine like I knew something was going to happen. Before I knew it the footsteps were really loud and then they stopped. I waited for few seconds until, all of the sudden, I had a burning pain in my neck. I let out a loud gasp as this happened. The blindfold slide off my eyes, only for me to see a mirror in front of me. The most shocking thing was, that burning pain in my neck, was a person, no, a vampire biting into me and drinking my blood. I couldn't see his or her face. It was like it was blurred out.
After what felt like an eternity. I blacked out. When I woke up again I was on the couch in the workroom, where I went to wait for Clements, only to find myself being shook by Clements. I looked around in a panic and then checked the time on my phone lying next to me. It was only 2:30pm. I was only asleep for about ten minutes. I sighed in relief as Clements asked if I was okay. I nodded looking at him in the eyes for him to know I wasn't lying. He smiled, and we talked about life until the bell rang. I hugged him when it did, but something was off. I felt a sudden craving for what seemed to be...blood. I quickly pushed him away. He looked at me confused, but I didn't stick around to find out what he wanted to say.
I ran to the bathroom and quickly checked to see if anyone was in there. I then ran to the mirror and looked at my teeth. I saw that my K-9s were very long and pointy. I then looked at my eyes, and they turned to a dark red color. I was getting worried. What if i couldn't control this? What if I hurt someone I loved? What if KILLED someone? Come on, Skylar. Stop thinking like this. Just calm down. I sat down on the ground and went into a quick meditation phase that calmed me down enough to turn everything back to normal.
I went to the theater thing and then went home. I found I could still eat regular food without throwing up which was a good thing. But I realized that I now have to avoid Clements for about as long as I can, or he'll start asking questions that will kill me to answer. I then went to bed and fell asleep before I knew it.
