Lately I've taken the time to think about when my life truly changed. And I've decided that I have absolutely no idea. It could've been a year ago when I had first found out the truth and strange things had first started happening, or when I was born, maybe when the experiments had finally become a success and were utilized, or maybe when the whole idea had first come to be in the deluded nut-job's head centuries before my parents were even born, much less me, but anyway I digress.
What got me writing about this was when one of my dear friends asked me that if I could go back and change it all, would I.
So now we're here, I'm going to tell you my story and let you decide what you think my answer should be.
How rude of me, I haven't even introduced myself yet. I'm Reyna Hopper and up until last year I was a normal 15 year-old girl. I was a sophomore at Ashburge High school in Magburge, Connecticut. The only odd thing about me-that I knew of- was the fact that my family moved somewhere new at least twice each and every year since I was five.
I would like to make one thing clear first. This isn't a fairytale about some fantasy world that you would want to live in, though that may be what it seems like.
It's lonely, scary, dangerous, and for people like my friends and me, downright suicidal. It's something that I wouldn't wish upon anyone but I have decided that this is something that I can't simply keep to myself so that is why you, the dear reader are, well, reading this. So sit back, get a snack and enjoy the ride, because this is my story.
