I hate how books are so quotable.

I hate the fact that those quotable parts of a book were made by somebody human.

For example:

"Sometimes, a candle in the dark is enough to make people wonder what else there is to see."

Can I just tell you that that was from a three-book series and that's not even the last sentence in the damn book?

And don't even get me started on Paper Towns and The Fault in Our Stars.

(I don't even have stars, so...)

Paper Towns is soooooo quotable. I searched for quotes from Paper Towns and BAM 700  million pictures flash in front of my face and blind me for life.

TFiOS was worse. Even my friend (hey -unknown-) highlighted crazy siomai in the book she let me borrow.

AND THE ENTIRE SELECTION SERIES PWET (which, btw, is the Filipino word for posterior, butt, booty, etc. There are so many names for your gluteus maximus)

I swear, the way Kiera Cass wrote the series was just absolutely amazing.  It was just like "hey Maxon there are 35 girls competing for you but then there's this girl named America and she's part i swear as soon as you two met I heard wedding bells oh and by the way America's been dating Aspen for a while and apparently Aspen is a guard at your palace oops but whatever you guys have to get married I require you to"

....................

I've definitely gone insane.
