Somehow the last thing I saw last night was Landon's eyes.
NO he did not drug me! He would never.
Basically, I fell asleep while looking up at the stars, or in this case his starry eyes. He carried me all the way through the park back to his car and Daddy helped him carry me to my bedroom. And in my mother's words, he was a true gentlemen for it.
Yeah...
Anyway, so today the county fair is in town for the two weeks so me, Landy, Marilyn, Naveen, Isiah and Kaitlyn all agreed to go on a triple date.
It would have been quadruple if Giselle and Joseph could come with us but things are still rocky between them.
I hope everything is okay... I talked to Joseph every so often. He basically works his butt off now trying to keep his mind off of it. Poor thing. And I haven't even gotten the chance to speak to Giselle at all about it. But Joseph said she's okay. She's trying to adapt the mind of a ninja master to defeat her mother's wicked ways. Lol.
But the fair is the best time of the year. It comes twice, once in the summer and somewhere in the fall. And in the fall they add a corn maze for... whatever fall reason.
Anywho, as we all stood in line waiting to get on the Swinging Pirate Ship of - whatever - we were all engaged in some kind of conversation or at least Kaitlyn and Marilyn were which was actually arguing and the boys and I just exchange glances and snickers and carried mouthed convos of our own.
But when Kaitlyn looked at my direction, she shushed Marilyn and turned around wrapping her arms around Isiah. Whatever they were arguing about seem pretty tense and knowing Kaitlyn now, she probably started it in the first place so I wonder why she stopped now.
I looked behind me and saw two guys standing behind me and Landon. One taller than the other with a scruffy beard coming along and then - Tate.
"Hey Tate!" I greeted.
It didn't occur to me afterwards that the situation was bond to get awkward because Nate and Tate weren't friends with Kaitlyn or Marilyn anymore.
"Hey Tea, what's up? See you been with my boy Landon, here." Tate replied.
"Yup, we met at my family's coffee shop." Landon said give me a gentle squeeze.
"That's so awesome! And man, your mom makes the best muffins!"
"Thanks dude, I'll tell her that."
"Aye man, your cousin still does music?" Nate asked him.
"Why don't you ask him yourself. Ayo, Naveen!" Landon called Naveen behind him.
Naveen walked up, "What' up man?"
"Nate wants to know if you still do music?"
"Well, of course I do. Why wouldn't I?"
"Awesome man, because Tate over here needs to someone to jam out with his sound." Nate explained.
"No problem, dude. We can rock out anytime whenever you're ready." Naveen agreed.
"Sweet!" Tate said as he pulled out his phone exchanging numbers with each other.
"Oh hey, Marilyn and Kaitlyn. I didn't see you girls here." Nate smirked.
We all towards our attention towards the two. Marilyn had her hands intertwined behind her back while Kaitlyn unwrapped her arms off of Isiah and folded them across her chest.
"Hey guys," Marilyn shyly greeted.
"What the fuck are you guys doing here?" Kaitlyn snarled.
"Um, obviously we here because the fair is and obviously we're in this line to go onto this ride." Nate snarled back.
