Lightning through my window
Rain to break the moon's soft glow
As I try to fall asleep
But it's impossible for me
When the thunder booms far away
Another crack of lightning underway,
Count the seconds--one, two, three
Must be three miles away from me
Far away, but much too close
The lightning's just to bright
With raindrops flying left and right....
It's just another rainy night.
