Lightning through my window
Rain breaking the moon's soft glow
As I try to fall asleep
But it's impossible for me
When the thunder booms far away
Another crack of light underway,
Count the seconds-one, two, three
Must be three miles away from me
Far away, but much too close
The lightning's just too bright
With ravens flying left and right
It's just another rainy night.
