A sunrise; reflections of wavering red
A glowing ball of fire overhead
A monarch; wings lion-striped orange
Soaring, once his cocoon is torn
An oak tree; transforming clothes to yellow
As summer leaves...what a simple fellow
A pine branch; when snow will fall, is still green
Autumn, to him, has not a call, nor a scream
A flower; petals of broken blue
Sky and snow in a peaceful hue
A twilight; the sky shades to an indigo
Where the crystal blue went, we may never know
A violet; of course the name says it...is violet
Much the same color as evening-Twilit
A snowfall; flakes of crystal white
Woven together without two alike
A rainbow; a half-moon prism of light
Without one single care on this late summer night.
