I sat there frozen I didn't know what to say or do. Uhh you want ME to go out with YOU? "Well yeah" He said with a smile. Okay ill go out with you im giving you a chance so don't blow it. I said feeling really confident. "Okay can I get you're number"? I gave him my number and the whole time Annabelle kept smiling at me. As soon as Tyler walked away she whispered to me. "Ohhhhh you have a crush on him" She said giggling. Maybe I do I said laughing. We got done eating and we decided to go back home. We got home and dad was upstairs in his room crying. I tucked Annabelle into bed and went downstairs to watch some tv before going to bed. Dad came downstairs and grabbed his keys then ran out the door. He came back about twenty minuets later with three 10 packs of beer. Dad what in the world do you think you're doing? (he used to be an alcoholic) He didn't say anything he just walked up to his room. I decided to go to bed. (The next morning) I woke up really early and Annabelle was still sleeping. I decided to take a shower and I went downstairs hoping my mom was up making food. Good morning momm- I remembered that she passed away yesterday. Tears started to form in my eyes and I just sat on the floor and cried then Annabelle walked into the kitchen. "Why are you crying grace"? Oh im just a little sad but I'll be okay. "Are you sad because of mommy" Yes I am but that's okay. I said standing up. Would you like me to fix you something for breakfast? "Yes please can I please please have pancakes"? Of course do you want chocolate chip or regular? "Chocolate chip please" made her breakfast and I went upstairs to get dressed and do my morning routine . I walked by my dad's room and I saw that he hasn't gone to work so I went into his room. Dad why aren't you at work? All he did was mumble I could tell he had drank all of the beer he bought yesterday because they were laying around some on the bed some on the floor. I walked out of his room really mad. I can't let him go back to how he was. Annabelle came into my room when I was brushing my teeth. "Hey Grace"? Yes love? "I get out of school early today so can we please go do some stuff together because I miss hanging out with you"? Of course we can I said with a smile. I felt really honored that she wanted me to do stuff with her. I finished getting ready and I didn't really feel like eating. I dropped Annabelle off at school and I went to pick up Kelly. I picked her up and we were on the way to school and she didn't hardly say anything to me/ I think she knew that if she asked me anything about my mom I would start crying so that why she stayed quiet. We got to school and I was on my way to class and Tyler stopped me. "Hey beautiful I heard about you're mom and im sorry about it" I just kind of froze. Thanks but how did you know about it? "It was in the papers and on tv didn't you know that"? No I didn't actually. "Oh well I just wanted to tell you im sorry about you're mom and also what time do you want me to pick you up for our date"? Oh maybe about 8 and ill text you my address so you will know where to pick me up. "Okay well I have to get to class so ill catch you later" Oh okay bye I said walking away from him. Finally it was time for lunch I still wasn't that hungry but I just didn't want to be in class. I guess that a lot of people knew that my mom died because all day people kept coming up to me saying they were sorry about what happened. I appreciated the fact that people cared but I didn't like all of the attention. I was so glad that school is finally over. I gathered up all of my stuff and got in my car and picked up Annabelle. She seemed super excited to hang out today. So love where do you want to go to hang out? "Uhh I kind of wanted to know if we could go get hot chocolate like we used to do with mom" Oh okay I said kind of sad. We got to Starbucks and we both got hot chocolate and we decided to walk around. We went into justice and she picked out some cloths that I bought for her. I looked at the time and it was 6:30 I decided to pick up some food and head home with Annabelle. We ate our food and we got home. We got inside and I can tell dad had been drinking I didn't want to leave Annabelle home with him while he was drunk because he gets violent when he's drunk. I decided to call Kelly.

Hey Kelly can I ask you a favor pwease?
"Hahaha it depends on what it is.
I need you to watch Annabelle for a while because I'm going on a date and I don't want to leave her here alone with dad while he's drunk.
"OOOOOHHHHHH YOU are going on a date and you didn't tell me"?
Yeah ill tell you everything later but it's at 8 and I don't want her here alone with dad so can you watch her for me?

I took Annabelle over to Kellys house and dropped her off. Got home and decided to wear a Blue dress with black lace on it and I put on black flats. I was to lazy to do something fancy with my hair so I just curled it. I did my makeup and I was ready so I went downstairs to get my purse and dad was watching tv. I'm going on a date but I will be back later. "Where is Annabelle"?! He sounded mad oh lord. She is at Kelly's house she is fine ill pick her up on my way back from my date. He just sat there staring at me. After a few minutes of us staring at each other Tyler rang the doorbell. Good bye Dad I said walking out the door. He took me to a nice picnic and it was beautiful. We were sitting there talking and my phone rang. It was A hospital.

"You're father Bill williams and little sister Annabelle Williams is in the hospital I cant really tell you happened over the phone it will have to be face to face"
Omg what hospital and what room number?!!!
"Nebraska hospital and You're father is in room 208 and you're little sister is in room 209."

TYLER WE HAVE TO GO!!! "Why whats wrong"? My sister and Dad got into an accident and I have to get to the hospital!!! "Okay" The park was only a few blocks away from my house so he drove me to my house so I could get my car. I got my car and got to the hospital as fast as I could. I got to the front desk I told her who I was and she said my dad got into a car accident because he was driving drunk. I saw that my dad was awake and I was so mad at him right now that I didn't even want to talk to him so I went into Annabelle's room. Hey love how are you feeling? "Im fine but my head hurts a little bit" Okay ill send the nurse in here and im going to go talk to dad while the nurse is helping you. "Okay" I went into dads room and he was just laying there staring at the sealing. How do you feel? "Im fine" Why in the world did you think it was okay to drive drunk and with a little kid in the car?! Are you really that irresponsible?! "I wasn't thinking Grace" NO you were thinking you made the choice to drive the car drunk with a little kid in the car do you not understand that you could have killed her?!!! Now she is in the hospital because you made a bad choice! So do not sit here and say I wasn't thinking because you were I screamed walking out of the room to go back in Annabelle's room.
