Sang POV
"Daddy why does mummy hate me," I ask my father.
"She doesn't hate you baby she just doesn't like that you were born and that Marie isn't an only child. Now go up to your fucken room and don't come out till we need you to clean up after we have eaten!" he yells at me and I run up to my room which is just a coat closet.
Just as I get to the closet door I get pulled back by my hair, and get kicked and I go sliding into the wall. "Look at what you just did bitch you got blood all over my shoe and the floor, I'm going to tell mum and you are going to get in trouble again. How many days has it been since you were able to eat again?" Marie asks even though she knows because just last week you broke a window and said that I did it so for my punishment I am to aloud to eat till I get told I can.
"It has been a week. Please don't tell Mum," I beg her because I don't want to go another week without eating.
There is only so much a 6 year old can take. I have been doing everything from cooking to cleaning for the people that I live with that I call family, since I was 5. That was the time that I overheard my parents talking and found out that my mother wasn't my mother, I guess that is why she hates me.
"Fine I won't say anything but you have to clean my room and do my homework," she says with an evil grin on her face. Then she picks me up by my hair again and slams my face into the wall a few times still there is more blood everywhere.
I run to the bathroom crying and see that I have a busted up nose and my lip is split.
Just as I finish cleaning up, the bathroom door opens and in walks my mother. "What the fuck did you do in the hallway you little bitch. Getting blood all over my nice white walls and the floor. I knew you would be a little bitch like your mother," she spits out at me.
Then she walks over to the bath and starts running the water. She grabs my arm and holds my head under the water I try and get up but she is bigger than me and has more body weight.
I feel myself being shaken awake I look up at see everyone just looking over me but North and Silas are right in my face.
"Aggele are you all right? North said you stopped breathing, and that you were crying before that," Silas says with worry in his voice.
"I am fine I was just having a bad dream about the past. It is nothing to worry about," I say hoping to get them to drop it. Which doesn't look like the case with some of the faces the guys have, I know I am going to have to talk.
"Sang we don't want to push you, but with what you said last night about not living with your family and the nightmare we would like to help anyway we can," I hear Kota say somewhere behind the two giants.
I stand up and sit on the couch and just think about it. How much do I tell them before it becomes too much and they don't want to hang out with me. Which will put my job in a very bad position. I have never once failed a job because of something I have done. I have never failed a job full stop.
I look up and see all of them looking at me. I know this is the time that I need to tell them something if they are ever going to trust me.
"Ok, well do you remember last night I said that my father kicked me out of home? Well for as long as I can remember I have been abused by my mother, or who I thought was my mother. But that's another story. No one in my family cared about me, including my sister and my father."
"When I was four I had four broken ribs, a fractured wrist, and a black eye. I was still going to daycare then because my mother didn't want to look after me at home. When people noticed what was happening to me my parents took me out. But then I had to go to school. That is when it started getting worse. My sister started to get her friends to beat me up at school and because my father was a big shot in the town we lived in, none of the teachers did anything about it," I say and stop to see how the boys are taking it.
