Shot.

Mel's POV

I'm dead.

That's the first thing that comes to my head when I open my eyes and see nothing but darkness. I don't remember how I died. I was just, dead.

The last thing I remember is thinking of Carl. He can't be dead. He's strong. There's no way my little brother is dead. Unfound. Let's stick with that.

It was weird how neither mom nor Shane or even my dad mentioned my little brother. They just paid attention to me. Surely they would have said something to me about Carl's absence. They were smart enough to know that I would notice it.

My eye lids begin to become heavy. I fight to keep them open, I fight to see the darkness. But they close.

And I'm dead.

Glenn's POV

She was deep in thought when she just slipped out of Lori's hold. She fell backwards onto the grass and I hear Lori scream as Shane says 'shit' and Rick runs over to where his daughter was lying.

She passed out. She passed out mid thought and was now lying there, pale, on the ground.

"Hershel!" Shane violently speaks and me and Andrea shoot up running as fast as we can to the Greene household. Hell Shane they are probably asleep by now.

My fist bounds against the wood of the white door as Andrea quietly screams through the window 'Hershel'. I continue knocking - ponding until I heard two pairs of feet rushing down the white staircase which you saw when you entered the house.

Maggie, Hershel's daughter, pulls the door open and pushes the screen holding them open for her dad to get past.

"Rick's daughter just passed out." I speak quickly jumping down all porch steps and rushing back over to where Lori, Shane and Rick were leaning over Mel.

Hershel places his index and middle finger against the girls neck probably finding a pulse. He pulls back after a minute and looks over to a crying Lori.

"She just passed out. But we need to get her inside of the house because she's not breathing. Maggie go set up. Will someone bring her in?" Hershel asks and without a breath Shane picks the limp body off the floor and marches towards the house. I look towards Rick who has his arms around his wife as she cries hard into him. He's staring at Shane with a cold expression. Ouch.

*a few hours later*

Neither Shane nor Rick have left her side since she passed out this morning at 2am. It's now 7am and I'm leaning against the door frame leading into the room where she's laying on the white bedsheets.

"How long were you in the barn talking to her?" Rick asks Shane, not looking away from his daughter.

"I put my gun to that son of a bitch's head and she told me to stop. Took me a couple of minutes to get around the fact she was there. She was alive. When she answered back she come towards me but couldn't move because of the handcuffs. I took it off and I just looked at her before squeezing the fucking daylights out of her. Then I brought her straight to Lori." Shane says, not looking away from the girl he cared so much about.

"You were going to kill him?" Rick finally looks at Shane. Shane doesn't return the glance.

"He was going to." Speaks a Southern accent and all our eyes dart to the girl on the bed. Her eyes were open. They weren't on Shane nor Rick.

But me.

Mel's POV

I hear the muffled sounds of my fathers and uncles voices and I squeeze my eyes shut. I'm dead. I can still here them. They were talking fast, but it slowed down when it hit my ears letting me take in every word that came out of their mouths.
