Someday

Prolouge

"Come on guys, we haven't been camping in forever! Look alive!" Said James. "We know James but shouldn't we go to the normal campsite instead of going to some secret place?" Said Rachel. "Listen guys, I'm fine with it as long as there is good beer!" Rachel was pretty sure Sam was drunk half the time but James thought Sam and Catelyn looked good together. Catelyn noticed that James was glancing back and fourth between her and Sam and she said, "James, just look at the road" but James still saw her blush. "Anyone want to listen to the radio? Or should I just play my quote on quote dumb, Japanese music? It's from that anime that Catelyn said she liked-" Luke was cut off by Catelyn, "I'd rather the radio, listen to the song in your hoodie." Catelyn didn't mean to be rude but James shipping her and Sam got her annoyed. Rachel said, "Guys, we are all best friends, why do we need to snap at each other? Here Luke, take my headpho-" "Hold on guys. Luke, Sam, help me come move this  branch, it's covering the path to the secret place." Everyone had been so caught up in conversation and, beer, that they had forgotten that they were driving to a secret place. "I'll try to help." Said Luke, he was trying to hide his face because he was still blushing a bit from Rachel's kindness. He couldn't decide when he should ask her out though. He had been crushing on her for a while. Rachel didn't know this of course and was just being kind but Luke thought it was some type of symbol. "I'll go help with the tiny tree." Said Sam. As the three boys got out Luke thought he saw a figure run through the trees but he decided against it since nobody would go to the restricted area except them, right? As they lifted the branch out of the way and James went back to the wheel a deer jumped out of the bushes screaming wildly with an obvious blood stain. "Oh crap!" The deer ran away continuously screaming with blood dripping down its side. "Did you guys see that!" Luke yelled back to the girls and James. Only James and Rachel noticed and only Rachel seemed concerned while James and Sam were hollering so loud the campsite could've heard them! Luke quickly ran back to the minivan to avoid more jumpscares like that. As Sam finally got into the minivan panting from laughter they started down the path. They continued driving for five minutes having the occasional conversation. "When will we get there?" Complained Catelyn. "Relax, we'll get there." Said James, "Next time we do this we could just not invite you." "Maybe that will happen." She said as the campsite loomed ahead, "Maybe someday."
