Brianna couldn't even think. She sat in the waiting room, waiting. Just waiting for news. Waiting to find out if Aaron made it or not. She felt numb.

Her friends were talking to her, trying to find out exactly what happened, but she couldn't hear them. All she could hear was her own heartbeat.

"Guys. Let her be" Mia suggested, finally realizing that Brianna wasn't listening.

"He saved me." Brianna finally whispered.

"What?" Andy asked.

"Aaron. He-he saved me." Brianna finally let the tears fall from her eyes.

"Bri. What did he save you from?" Caleb asked.

"The killer. He was looking for me, and Aaron saved me and got shot in the process. It's all my fault" she sobbed.

"No no its not bri" Erin said, trying to comfort her.

"Yes it is! Maybe if I hadn't been there. Maybe if we didn't go back to my house and see my sister die. Maybe he wouldn't have Shot Aaron." Brianna's face was bright red from crying.

"Brianna" Mia started but right then a nurse came out.

"Is he ok?" Were the first words go blurt out of Brianna's mouth.

"Well... he survived." The lady said, but she had a hint of worry in her voice.

"But?" Mia asked.

"But he has amnesia. It's most likely from the trauma, meaning he should get his memory back within a few weeks but it could also be longer." The nurse explained.

"Does he know who we are?" Andy asked.

"Well let's go find out." The nurse said.

She led then to a small room. They entered and saw Aaron laying on the bed, fully concious watching TV.

"Hello Aaron. Your friends are here. Do you remember them?" The nurse asked kindly.

"Of course! hey guys." Aaron said smiling weakly. Brianna was so relieved.

"Can you tell me their names?" The nurse asked Aaron.

"Andy, Mia, Erin, and Caleb." Aaron said smiling.

"And?" Brianna asked.

"And what?" Aaron was confused.

"What's my name?" Brianna asked again.

"I don't know. I thought you were just tagging along with my friends." Aaron answered.

That, almost ironicaly, felt like a shot in the chest to Brianna.

"You don't remember me?" She whispered.

"No I have no idea who you are." Aaron shrugged.

"B-but you-" Brianna tried but she couldn't say anything. She broke down.

Aaron was so confused, he didn't know why some random girl was upset that he didn't know her.

Andy and Mia grabbed Brianna's arms and helped her out of the room.

Before she was completely out she yelled to the nurse. "Why? Why doesn't he remember me?!" She sobbed.

"Most likely because of the trauma. He probably forgot everyone and everything to do with what had happened." The nurse was so calm and Brianna hated it.

Brianna finally went limp and let Mia and Andy carry her out of the room.

"Brianna you need to calm down." Andy said.
