I woke up at 7 am to do my morning yoga. Yoga is something I try to adapt into my routine. Wanting to do it everyday. However I end up doing it 3 or 4 times a week rather than what I hoped for.

After doing that it was 8 am. I decided to go downstairs and make breakfast. Just because. Beast was still sleeping. He's such a lazy dog.

I walked in the kitchen and saw Carla taking stuff out of the fridge.

"Oh Leah, you are awake. Bom Dia!" She smiled.

"Bom Dia Carla. How are you?" I asked walking to the counter.

"I'm okay, thank you. How are you?" She asked.

"Fine." I answered. "So if you don't mind I'll be making breakfast today."

"No, Leah. David will not like that." She reasoned.

"Well I guess he'll just have to talk to me about that." I moved to the fridge and started pulling out eggs. "Now go and sit on the stool right there." I said pointing to the stool.

"But Leah-"

"Please sit on the stool, Carla." I said.

She huffed and obliged.

I also got flour and butter out, along with some fruits.

Pancakes with maple syrup and fruit.

I started making the batter after I put the pan on the stove to heat up.

I had 3 pancakes done when I heard someone coming downstairs.

"Carla! Is my breakfast ready?" I heard David yell.

Carla was about to get up when I looked at her and gave her a stern look. She slumped back down.

"Carla! What are you-Princesa?" David walked into the kitchen and looked at me confused. "You're cooking?"

I nodded flipping another pancake. "Pancakes for breakfast." I said.

"You're cooking?" He asked again.

"Yes David. Yes I am cooking. Now are you going to keep asking questions or have pancakes."

"Um yeah." He came and sat on the stool.

"Coffee or juice?" I asked.

"Juice is fine." He said. I nodded. I poured some orange juice into a cup and gave it to him.

After a while I heard, "Good morning-Leah? What are you doing?" Followed by a gasp.

"She's making breakfast Sierra." David said to her.

"Princesa's making breakfast?" She said her mouth agape.

"Yes I'm making breakfast, Sierra. Now you want to keep talking or have pancakes?" I said putting a plate in front of David.

"Um...yeah." She came and sat beside David.

"Mmm, these are good princesa." David said talking with his mouth full. That made Sierra giggle as she took a napkin and wiped the side of his mouth where some of the syrup had gotten on.

I put a plate in front of her and Carla. Carla looked at me with a confused face.

"Well I'm not going to leave you out." I said putting one on a plate for me. "Coffee for Sierra. Carla what would you like?" I asked.

"Coffee, thank you." She said. I nodded and got them coffee while getting juice for myself.

We were all eating around the kitchen island.
