I plopped down on my bed opening that granola bar and start shoving it in my mouth as I looked for savannahs contact in my phone.
I found it and texted her;
"Savannah, I heard about this morning. Are to you okay? Where are you?"
After hitting send I walk out and head towards the living room, it's now 12:45
"Come on guys let's get dressed and I'll make lunch"
They all hop up and head towards their rooms, I follow Elaina to hers because i know she'll need help. Once we get to her room my phone buzzes from my back pocket, I quickly look at it and there's a text from savannah
"I'm fine, I'm at stevens.."
Steven is Savannah's boyfriend, they've been together since she was 14, Steven was 16.
"Are you coming home?"
I sent that, almost in fear of what her answer is going to be.. I grab a pair of undees, and pink Jean shorts along with a white t shirt with a butterfly on it, and start helping Elaina get dressed.
Once she was dressed she went running out of her room, and I followed. The crew was sitting on the couch again all dressed and watching tv.
"Figure out what you all want for lunch, make sure you agree on something." I tell them before walking to my room
"Okay" They all say, almost at the same time.
Once I get to my room my phone buzzes again,
"Not sure. Why?"
Reading that made my heart hurt a little.
"Please come home.." I hit send then head towards my dresser, I pull out a Twenty One Pilots band shirt and a pair of leggings. I continue to make myself look less like a zombie and more like a human.
*buzz*
I go to check my phone
"I'll be home tonight okay. I love you"
That text made me smile
"You promise?"
"I promise!"
I walk out of my room and into the living room
"What did you guys decide on for lunch?"
"PIZZA!" Justin shouts
"YEAH PIZZA!" Trevor agrees.
"Guys we can't get pizza.." I tell them
"Aww whyyyy??" They both whine.
"BECAUSE WE'RE POOR!" maria shouts as she stands up and stomps off to her room.
"What was that all about" Justin asks showing no care..
I just shake my head..
"Peanut butter and jelly okay?" I ask, begging they all say yes
"That's fine" Trevor says
Elaina and Justin just nod.
"Okay good. Now I'm gonna go check on maria, why don't you all go play outside it's nice out, I'll call you in when lunch is ready."
With that they all jumped up and Elaina tapped Justin and yells "tag you're it!" And they all go running out the back door.
I walk into Marias room, I forgot to knock this time.
"What was that about kid?" I ask. She gets out of bed and hugs me tight and says sorry.
I kiss the top of her head then ask "do you want to come help me make lunch?"
She nods as we head off to the kitchen.
