'Leah? LEAH! Tell me where!' I yelled at her while shaking her. She points to the cliff and I run straight there. I walk to the edge and sat down.
Me: Where did you go?
Seth: I had to do an errand.
Me: Really. An errand. What errand took 2 weeks? Seth! You just ran away from your sons, who I have been taking care of since you left. Something could have happened to him and you wouldn't know.
Seth: I'm sorry...
Me: Did you even THINK about anyone else but yourself when you decided to run away?
Seth: I went searching for Kayla.
Me: Really, and how did that go?
Seth: I didn't find her.
Me: Well, no shit. I even knew that.
Seth: Why are you so mad at me Kaya? I thought you would want me to go look for her!
Me: I do! But leaving unannounced for 2 weeks without knowing where you are or when you'll be back scared me half to death. You want to know what scared the other half of me to death? Koda.
Seth: What about,
Me: He ran away Seth. He ran away looking for you. He was missing for 4 DAYS! He heard me talking to Kwoli. I left the pack in charge of SJ while I went to go look for him!
Seth: YOU LEFT SJ WITH THE BOYS?
Me: I COULDN'T LOOK OUT FOR YOUR SON WHEN MY SON WAS OUT THERE MISSING. I have my priorities Seth. You need to find yours. So what if Kayla left, and left you with your baby? You have 2 kids now. You have responsibilities. Man up and BE A MAN
I got up and walked away leaving Seth to his thoughts.
~Seth's POV~
"Dada?" I heard from behind. I turned around and caught Koda in my arms.
Me: Koda, baby. I missed you. I love you. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left. Why would you run away?
Koda: I was looking for you dada. I wanted to help you
Me: I missed you too, but you can't just run away like that. Something could have happened to you.
Koda: Something could have happened to you dada. You didn't even say bye.
Me: I know I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I kept repeating and repeating while cradling Koda in my arms. Kaya is right. I have 2 sons now. I can't just abandon both of them and Kaya.
