A New Student (Yami Yugi X Reader)

Part 6

Nooooo, you rubbed your sleepy eyes, why must my alarm clock play my FAVORITE song when I wake up for another school day...

You slowly reached your arm out and turned your alarm clock off.

"Oh yeah, that's right! Today is Thursday, which means we get out a little earlier than on regular school days!"

I mean really, who wouldn't cherish days like these even though they are just an hour and a half earlier than when a regular school day ends! School is a big pile of crap...that is...if your friends aren't with you...

The thought made you instantly turn on your phone to call (b/n) to wonder if she's coming to school today...

I hope they are all feeling better today...

"Wh-wha..," answered a groggy voice, "what the hell (y/n), why are you calling this early in the morning..."

"CUZ IT'S SCHOOL TIME YOU POTATO!....I mean... how are you feeling today??? Any better???"

(b/n) laughed and then coughed so much that she couldn't get a word in for a good 15 seconds.

"No bro, but yeah maybe a little bit, but still not that well enough to go to school," (b/n) sighed.

You sighed too, "Really? Dang... what about the others? Are they still sick too?"

"You mean Lissa and Megan? Ugh (y/n) how would I know," you could literally hear (b/n) rolling her eyes, "you just woke me up...you ask em."

"Oh, yeah sorry about that. Well (b/n), I really hope you get better soon, sleep well!"

"I will haha, later bro. I'll try and text you!"

After the call ended, you decided to not text or call your other friends because if they are still sick, then they would be sleeping in. Might as well just see if they show up for school.

After getting up to do your normal morning routine, you went back into your bedroom and saw a recent text message:

"Good morning (y/n)! :)"

It was from Yugi!

You let out a little squeak of happiness and typed on your keyboard:

"Good morning Yugi! Ready for an early day today? :D"

"You bet! See you at school!"

"My day just got a whole lot brighter," You said with a big ol' smile on your face.

Lets see... I have 10 more minutes till I hop in the car with mom...what should I do...

You looked around your room, having your eyes travel over the various drawings drawn by you scattered all over the wall and posters of your favorite bands. Your eyes landed on a small box in the corner of your opened closet.

"What do I have in there again?" you got off your bed and went over to the closet. You kneeled down and opened the very old box that was slightly hidden by old piles of clothes which more than likely didn't fit you anymore.

"Oh yeah! My memory box! The box where I keep all my memorable items in here!" You burst with happiness when you looked through all of the old items which brought a sense of nostalgia. Stuff back from when you were in middle school, to elementary school, to when you were just a baby!

At the bottom of your special box was a jewelry box.

"Oh yeah, and this weird thing!"

You removed the top and took out the ancient, but very shiny and almost brand new looking bracelet. This thing has always confused you. It had weird looking charms around it. An eye, a ring, a scale, a key, a rod, a necklace, and last but not least, a puzzle into a shape of a pyramid.
