Mallory was standing there. Waiting. "Wh-Wh-Wh-What are you doing in my locker?" Sam stepped in- "oh! I told her to come clean up your locker for you because you are way to busy for that!" Mallory said," your totally right. Got to go!" Now it was just Sam and Kim. They are both thinking the same thought over and over and over- Total silence. Total silence. Total silence. Sam closes her eyes to shun the awkwardness. Suddenly she feels a big, happy, warm, hug, and opens her eyes. She is in the hospital. The hud is her mom. "Sam! Sam!" Her mom calls. "Can you here me Sam?" Sam makes a slow, small, nod. "Where is Kim?" Sam asks quickly, but quietly. "Expelled." Says a quiet, background noise. "Who said that?" Everything is extremely blurry to Sam. "Your best friend." The voice says. "Kim?" Sam says quietly. "Yes. I am so sorry." Says Kim. Sam said,"Why?" "Why what?" Kim says. "Why are you expelled?"
