"I told Tasha 'yes'. We leave tomorrow." Dimitri said, as he packed his gym bag up.
"But, who's gonna train me?? Dimitri don't go! I love you!" I cried.
"I love Tasha. Not you." Dimitri said harshly. He stood up and the door to the gym slammed shut behind him. I don't know how long I was in the gym for. Tears fell down my cheeks as I hit the punching bag over and over until my hands bled. Finally I left, not bothering to pick up my gym bag. The cold air blasted my face and I shivered. Suddenly, someone grabbed me from behind, pinning my arms behind my back.
"Thanks for making my job so easy!" A cruel voice hissed in my ear. I clamped my teeth down on the mans arm. He howled in pain and launched me into the wall. I heard a crack and everything faded into darkness.
I woke up with one hell of a headache which made sense seeing as I was thrown into a wall.
"Rose?" A voice whispered. A voice I would know anywhere. I sat up and to my left was Christian Ozera.
"Hey Sparky. You joined the party!" I joked.
"Really Rose?" Christian rolled his eyes. Then the Strigoi appeared. I threw myself in front of Christian, but one of his "friends" grabbed me and chained me to the wall. Then they dialed a number on their phone.
"Belikov." Dimitri's voice was clipped.
"Listen up Belikov. If you ever want to see Rose or Christian again, you'll do exactly as we say." The Strigoi smirked.
"Christian! Rose!" I heard Lissa's voice. The Strigoi, who I recognized as Nathan, grabbed my hair and yanked my head up. I cried out in pain as he sank his claws deep into my stomach. Then he grabbed a whip. I heard a crack and then there was pain. I screamed.
"Tell them to come get you!" Nathan said. I ignored him and the whip kept on coming down. I screamed until my throat was raw.
"Rose! Roza! Are you still there??" Came Dimitri's frantic voice.
"Don't come! Stay where you are!!" I yelled. Another blow shut me up.
"If you want your Rose to live you'll come and get her. You know where to find us." Nathan unchained my and I collapsed on the ground. Blood was everywhere and Christian looked sick.
"Rose, you need to lie down." Christian said. But I couldn't hear whatever else he was saying as I passed out on the ground.
