Chapter 51 (soccer game & Liam replies)

Still hadn't heard from Liam and it was driving me crazy!
Did he really cheat on me? Or was it just a photo that didn't mean anything?
I felt embarrassed in school, being the girl who got cheated on and everyone knew
People were supporting me tho mostly, many girls told me just to forget about it and move on but what if Liam didn't do anything?
I had to hear from him as soon as possible but I didn't want to talk to him if he really cheated, it would just be so sad and embarrassing for me

After school I went with Zayn to do some homework

,,have you talked to Liam?" I asked Zayn
,,I did text him last night but he hasn't replied" Zayn answered and handed me the phone to show me the text
Zayn had sent the photo of the cover and wrote ,,You better have an explanation, I trusted you with my best friend! Call me when you see this" -Zayn
It felt nice to know that Zayn and everyone were on my side in this
When I thought about Liam's hand around that blonde girl made me really jealous and upset, I wanted him to know how I was feeling.
First he didn't text me in a while then he didn't answer my text and lastly he's on the cover with some blondie
I really want Liam to answer Zayn and then Zayn would tell me how it went

Few days later:

Zayn's pov:
I woke up to a text message early in the morning and it was from Liam!
No what!? it's not what it looks like! Please tell me that Ericka hasn't seen that? -Liam

Everyone has seen this... -Zayn

Ive been really busy! This is just some girl who's on tour with me! Who wrote that article about me? -Liam

Dunno but you better explain to Ericka why you have ignored her and then this! -Zayn

I was still mad at Liam for not talking to all of us for so long! He had been gone for three weeks now and we have barely heard from him

Ericka's pov:
I woke up to get ready for school, it was Friday and I was actually in a good mood now
I was exited for the soccer game tonight, me, Debby, Eleanor, Hayley, Niall and Zayn were going to watch Harry and Louis compete against one of the best teams in the league

I took my school bag and my phone, I checked my phone on my way to the cafeteria and I had a text from Liam

Hi sorry I didn't reply back for a few days :( I've been super busy and that photo doesn't mean anything! I'll talk to you later, sorry for everything -Liam

I didn't know what to think or believe, he isn't the type of a guy who cheats but I don't know he had been acting like a jerk not just to me but also his friends
I was happy that he finally replied and wants to talk but I'm still a bit angry
Me and Zayn told the others about the texts from Liam

,,well I think you should hear him out, he has always been a great lad it would be weird if he just changed in three weeks" Louis said when me and Zayn had showed them the texts
,,I agree with Louis, maybe Zayn can talk to him first and tell you if he's still the same" Debby added
Me and Zayn both nodded
Zayn was going to try to call Liam tonight
I was a little bit nervous, what if Liam was a total jerk now?

I got dressed for the soccer game, I had to wear something warm because it was freezing outside. Me and the girls walked together to the field and found good seats, we had seats for Niall and Zayn too.
,,I'm exited!" I said looking at the girls who were also exited
,,I feel like we are going to win! Even tho it's going to be hard I feel like they will end up winning" Debby said confident

Niall and Zayn came to join us right before the game started. In the halftime Zayn wanted to talk to me in private.

,,I managed to call Liam and he answered, we talked for a while and he sounded really upset" Zayn said while I looked at him
,,he wants to invite us to come and see him on tour" Zayn added
I looked at Zayn very shocked cause I wasn't really expecting that!
,,when?" I asked
,,next weekend" Zayn replied
I knew immediately that I wouldn't be able to make it! I was going on very important golf practice and also had to write a big essay. I told Zayn and he nodded in an understanding way.
,,you will still go right?" I asked Zayn
,,I don't know, I mean sure he's my friend but he's been acting weird, tho he did say that if I came to see him I would realize that he hasn't changed at all" Zayn said
I convinced Zayn to go see Liam next weekend. I really also just wanted someone I knew well to go and see him and just see how he's doing.

Debby was right we did win the game tho it was hard. Harry and Louis played like pros and we wee all very proud of them, specially Niall who is a big soccer fan.
,,YOU WERE AMAZING LADS!" Niall yelled and jumped to hug Louis and Harry when they came over
,,yeah great game" I added
Debby and Harry had their moment and Louis and Eleanor too. I was happy to see that Louis and Eleanor were probably working things out. We had seen them talking all serious the other day but that doesn't mean anything bad, hopefully.

I know long time since I have updated this story! But I've been writing another story :)
