Chapter 34 (golf tournament with Niall)

I got a call from Niall, he told me that him and his dad were on their way to pick me up
Shit I had to be very quick, because I still had a few things to do
Somehow I managed to be ready when they came
Niall knocked on the door and I opened quickly
He smiled lightly, where is your golfset? He asked
Oh it's in the garage I said while tying my shoes
Niall went into the garage and took my golfset and put it in the trunk
"Thanks" I said and jumped in the car
"Are you nervous Ericka?" Bobby, Niall's dad asked me
"Yeah a little bit" I said and laughed
What about you Niall?
Yeah me too a little bit nervous he said and half smiled
We talked about the tournament the whole way
Niall told me that he also talked to Ashton last night
Ashton is too old to compete in this tournament, because the competition is for 18 years old and younger
But Ash has a lot of experience and is coming to watch us! He can maybe help us warm up and stuff like that Niall said happily
We arrived at the golf course, there were about 1000 people there I thought
A lot of cameras, and cars from all the sport channels from the tv
Shitshitshit I said and looked at Niall who also looked shocked and nervous
Why are there so many cameras!? He asked nervously
"Hey kids listen to me! You will both just have fun, this is such a great experience for you!" Bobby said to us
This is the biggest tournament of the year and I can't believe that me and Niall were invited to play on it!
We went to sign in
Niall asked the lady who signed us in how many players there were
"There are 200 girls and 200 boys" the lady said with a grumpy face
"Yeah that's what I thought" Niall said while we were walking away
"What was her problem?" Niall said and laughed when we were far away from the lady
I just laughed
Let's go and warm up, shall we? I asked Niall
We walked over to the driving range
Jesus my heart started beating fast when I saw Niki, that's a 18 year old girl, she is basically a professional!
And I will be competing against her!
Ash caught my attention, he stood there and waved me and Niall to come over

He was such a nice guy
Niall's tee time was soon up so he had to get going, I hugged him and wished him luck and he did the same
I will come and watch your first shot I said to him
I hit a few more balls and then checked the time, Niall's tee time was in 5 minuets so decided to walk over to see his first shot

"NIALL JAMES HORAN" I heard called up and then I knew it was his time to shot
I was kinda nervous for him, he was playing with 2 other boys who are very good
The tv camera was recording him
He took the shot and it was a great shot
The crowd clapped for him and ofc I did too
He looked at me, and I gave him thumbs up and he did the same
Ashton high fived him and it ended in some kinda bro hug
He was probably wishing him good luck and giving him some advice
Next Ashton ran over to me
Have warmed up enough? He asked me and I nodded while staring at the ground
Hey look at me Ericka, I know you are nervous I can see it on you, there's nothing you have to be nervous about! Just enjoy playing here Ash said and hugged me tightly
Thanks I said and half smiled
I will be in the crowd watching
Now go and smash it girl! He said jokingly and high fived me
He is like the big brother I never had
It was my tee time and the tv camera was in my face, so I tried my best to not look too nervous
My name was called up so I knew it was my time to take the first shot
When I stood over the ball I thought for a second about all the people watching me and the tv cameras, and that mom and dad were probably watching me on tv right now
Somehow I managed to take the shot and it was actually pretty good, the crowd clapped and I looked at Ash who looked proud of me

I hurried to go down stairs and turn on the tv, I choose the sport channel
I was really hoping to see Ericka or Niall
Ericka had told me that she probably won't be much on tv because the once who are in the first 5 places are always showed the most
At first I just saw some boys playing golf so I decided to go and get some breakfast
When I came back I couldn't believe my eyes, they were showing the scores and guess who was in the 3rd place right now!!!! ERICKA!!!
