Into A New Life
You felt yourself blinking at the shining sunlight hitting your eyes and to a racket downstairs. Curious of which friend had came over in the morning, you immediately get up and head downstairs sleepily. "There goes sleeping in the weekend..." You mumble as a yawn escapes your mouth. Halfway through the steps, the yells and howls became more clear as you tried to compress your giggles.
"OH MY GOD HE HAS LOAF OF BREAD GLUED TO HIS HEAD!"
"GET OFF ME KID! I'M THE COOK, NOT THE FOOD!" A few more crashes were heard as a couple of more voices were heard.
"DON'T TOUCH HIM OLD MAN!"
"GUYS KEEP YOUR VOICES DOWN!"
"What's going on here?" Your soft, husk voice sliced into their roars as they immediately quieted down. An awkward moment passed as you saw Thatch trying to pull a boy with a straw hat off his hair as his mouth was ready to take a bite. Another dark haired young boy was hanging into Thatch's front shirt reaching for the straw hatted boy while the blond child was clutching into Thatch's left leg. They all stared at you with a blush reaching to their faces except for the straw hat boy, who tilted his head to the side.
You could feel your eye twitch in annoyance as silence continued to pass. "I said, what's going on here?"
"Beakfast."
