As the weeks went by my stomach continued to get bigger. I started to get moodier, and I felt bad for Matt. Some days he would do everything I needed and I would still snap at him.
Matt was always touching my stomach, and he refused to let me out of his sight. It's adorable how protective he already is.
Today is the day of my first ultrasound. I'm super nervous because you never know what to expect. Matt picked me up from work and took me to the doctor.
We take a seat in the waiting room and I look over at Matt.
"You nervous baby?" He looks back at me and nods.
"Why are you so nervous?" He shrugs.
"I mean, this baby is mine too, and I want everything to go well." I smile at him.
"You're adorable." He grins at me and grabs a hold of my hand.
"Not as cute as you." I smile and wait for the nurse.

"Kat Lewis." I stand and the nurse smiles at me before leading Matt and I to a small room.
"Has everything been going well?" I nod and lie down on the bed.
"Anything unusual?"
"Nope, everything's going smoothly." She lifts up my shirt and rubs the jelly on my stomach. Matt grabs my hand.
I look over at the nurse and the look on her face makes me worry.
"Is everything okay?" She comes out of her trance.
"Yeah, the babies are fine." I sigh in relief.
"Oh good." I look over at Matt.
"Wait babies?" I gasp and look back at the nurse. She nods and turns the screen to face us.
"Theirs one, and the other one is over here." I gape at the screen and I hold Matt's hand tighter.
"Do you know the genders?" The nurse nods again.
"The one on the right is a girl, and the one on the left is a boy." I smile and look back at Matthew. He has tears in his eyes.
"Baby look what we did!" He smiles and kisses my forehead.
I start to tear up.
"This is amazing." Matt nods and proceeds to kiss my nose, and then my lips.
"I love you."
"I love you too Matthew."
"What are you going to name them?" The nurse wipes my belly and hands us prints of the ultrasound.
"Well if it was a girl we were thinking Melody Rayne Espinosa, and if it were a boy it would be Jordan Oliver Espinosa, but now we don't have to choose." I smile and Matt grabs my hand again.
"Those are beautiful names." My smile grows even bigger.
"Thank you! I love them." I look over at Matt again and the shock is still present on his face.
"Isn't this exciting!?" He nods.
"There's gonna be a mini one of each of us running around the house." I giggle.
"They're gonna be the cutest kids." He nods.
"Well, I want you back in a few weeks just because with twins we never know." I nod.
"Thank you so much." I get cleaned up and then Matt and I walk out of the office together.
"This is a miracle."
"It really is Kat."
"I love you Matthew."
"I love you too princess, and I can't wait for the babies to be born." I nod.
"Me too Matt. Me too."
