Sick Percy!

Chapter 1

"Where are we?" I asked walking over to Piper.
She took out the map and the radar, "we are getting close to the border or Algeria, considering we have taken boat"
I nodded processing where Algeria was on the map. This dyslexia thing sucks when you are learning Geography in class. I walked back to the outside of the Argo II, taking in the wonderful view. I was extremely itchy from all about twenty bug bites up and down my legs not counting the ones on the rest of my body.
See, I decided 'oh I'm the son of the sea so I'm repellent to bugs!!' Yeah I was wrong, these bug bites are going to drive me so crazy I might die.
I walk into the dining room and find Jason attempting to read. I sat down next to him and he smiled at me.
"Hey Sparks got any of that bug repellant?" I asked.
He laughed "you finally gave in? Ha. It's in the drawer on the left"
I rolled my eyes playfully and grabbed the spray. I put it on and set it back into the cabinet walking to my cabin. As I was heading back, i ran into Annabeth who was carrying supplies.

I smiled a her "Hey Wise Girl! Hey what are those?"

She looked down at all the stuff she was carrying "Oh this? It's for Leo. Apparently he needs to make some secret project thing whatever that is"

I just shrugged laughing a little. She smiled at me "You know, its almost been a year since we took that trip to Ethopia for that one quest with the Taraxippi."

"The ghost things that supposedly frighten horse things?"

She laughed and nodded "Yes, the ghost things. Those things are creepy, but not as creepy as Tartarus ha ha"

I agreed. Nothing could beat Tartarus i mean, it scarred us for life, and especially Annabeth. 

"Man it was cold there though, like why did Chiron make us go in the winter?" I said.

Annabeth shrugged "Probably because Taraxippi are more common in the winter so they harm more"

I nodded. I walked out to the deck and looked out at the sea. The waves crashed against the board of the deck. I took a deep breath, inhaling the ocean scent from the sea and walked to my room. I checked the time and it said about 6:00pm. I heard Leo call from the control room telling us to head up for dinner.  I walked out of my room and shut the door, making sure no one would walk into my room especially Buford the Table.

I sat down and Jason plopped next to me "Yo dude whats up?"

I shrugged smiling at him "Nothin' much bro ha ha"

He nodded "Amazing bro"

I nodded and looked over to Annabeth who was enjoying her dinner. After dinner we put all the stuff away and we headed to our rooms to sleep.

"Good night Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth says kissing me on the cheek. 

I smile at the gesture "Good night Wise Girl"

It's three in the morning, and i haven't gotten one bit of sleep. My head was killing me, and i felt like i was going to throw up. I sat up with the covers still wrapped around me and i gingerly placed my hand on my forehead.  I probably just have a fever or something. I got out of bed trying to ignore my pounding headache and tip toed out of my room to get to the main hall.

When i reached the hall, i found Annabeth sitting down at the table reading. She looked up from her book and smiled at me but then turned to a frown. 

I walked over to the cabinets to find some medicine "Morning Annie ha ha"

"Morning Perce, why are you up so early? You should be sleeping. And what are you looking for?"

I turned around shrugging "I couldn't sleep, my head hurt so i came down here to find some medicine"

Annabeth's face turned to sympathy "Oh Percy," She put her hand up to my forehead "Probably just a fever. I will take your temperature and get you some medicine"
