"delilah, baby. I've missed you." brennan said, smirking.
"I missed you too." I say, smiling.
"there's a party tonight, you coming babe?"
"I can't, I got homework." I sigh, and he nodded, understanding.
"it's gonna be so boring without you.." he said, as he held my waist, I smiled and he kissed me.
"I love you so much." he whispered.
"I love you too."
"I've got to go, my mom said she wanted me to drop her off at her house, see you tomorrow, babe?" he said and I nodded.
"yeah."
and with that, he left, and I got a message from luke.

and with that, I heard the door open, and slam shut, hearing him run up the stairs and into my room.
"sup homie" he said, as he jumped onto my bed.
"homie? really?" I laugh.
"yeah, I'm a thug now." he said.
"no you're not."
"yes I am."
"thugs don't have a room full of stuffed penguins."

"hey, luke, how about since I'm finished all my home work we go to this party brennan told me about?" I say and he nodded.

I got ready, and we left.

i heard music as we came across the street, once luke parked his Range Rover, we walked inside, seeing sweaty bodies grinding on eachother and people making out.
"let's grab something to drink." I say and he nodded, we push pasted everyone and got to the kitchen.
I found myself a pepsi and luke was drinking water.
"I'll go to the bathroom, be right back." he said and I nodded.
"I'll be right here." I say and he walked off.
I looked around the kitchen area, seeing some boys do body shots off girls in their bras and skirts.
I furrow my eyebrows as I seen a familiar boy, I walked closer to see a girl and him having a heated makeout session, I seen the boys hands on her ass, and once I realized who it was, I dropped my drink, taking a step back.
it was brennan.
I turned around and walked as fast as I can to the kitchen area, seeing Luke look lost.
I ran to him and I hugged him.
"l-Luke-" I say, but was cut off by someone saying my name.
I turned around and seen brennan.
"what do you want?" I say.
"when did you get here?" he asked.
"just now, we were just leaving." I say and he nodded, hesitating to ask me to stay.

once Luke dropped me off, I was in my room, crying as I thought about the event that happened earlier.
I stupidly dialed Luke's number, and he answered immediately.
"lilah?"
"luke- he cheated on me-" I cry as he sighed.
"it's okay, he doesn't deserve you." he said.
"am I not pretty enough? or skinny-"
"lilah, shut up. you're perfect, he just doesn't see it, he's a dumb fuck for cheating."
"my heart hurts, I feel so.. stupid." I say, crying.
"don't cry, I hate it when you cry. you don't need him, he's just.. dumb, you're much more then him, you deserve the world." he says and I wipe my tears.
"I don't know what I'd do without you, you're my bestfriend, luke. I love you." I say, feeling tired.
