Chapter Nine

*Violets POV*

As the door slammed shut, I sunk down to the floor and sighed hard. I rubbed my belly and smiled, I had plenty of time. I heard a sharp girlish scream from the other side of the door so I quickly swung the door open and ran out.

I saw Matt staring into the rubbish bin outside, fuck. "Matt please I'm sorry I was going to tell you!" I panicked as I saw him holding a bag of the ten individual pregnancy tests I had done previously. "When?" He angrily shot back, I began to cry and to my surprise I felt Matt hug me. He swept my hair out of my face and we continued to stare into each others eyes whilst in each others embrace. But as quick as it had started, it stopped and then Matt went trudging fast down the street whilst I stood and watched in confusion.

*Matt's POV*

This changes everything, I punched a nearby brick wall. I felt so angry and confused with myself, how could I do this, I can't secretly raise two babies as I'd be exhausted and its just wrong on so many levels. I love Vi with everything but the spark felt dead between us when I met Cassidy, but now it feels revived imaging our perfect family but then my love for Cassidy has also been growing lately however she doesn't hit me like Vi does.

I had to find space and time to decide what to do. I had a crazy thought and just went with it, I felt like I was going insane but I knew there was only one person I could truly confide in. I walked up to the house to hear yelling and smashing of glass. I knocked loudly on the  door but before I was done an angry man stormed out the house bumping straight into me and slamming the door shut. His face dropped "M..M..Matt?" I nodded back to him. "Oli, I really need a talk" I quietly replied with my head hung low, we both then walked to the pub together.

We both sat down with a whiskey each, "so what's troubling you Matt?" Oli asked as he took a swig of his drink. "I've gotten myself into trouble, really bad trouble mate" I replied whilst holding back tears. Oli insisted I explained so I told him all about Vi and Cassidy and the babies. By the end of my story he looked incredibly confused and very  shocked. 

After four more awkwardly quiet drinks Oli finally spoke. "I can't believe you would do that to Vi man" he said with disappointment. I thought about everything that had happened with me, Vi and Oli and it honestly took Oli's one sentence to realise how much of a mistake I had made with Cassidy let alone how far Ive let it go.
