Unbreakable Love

Chapter 1

"Please check the test grade and make sure it's correct.", Mr.Conwell said. And with that the bell rung, but as usual Mr.Conwell had forgotten something.

"Oh wait class before you leave let me assign your partner for the project.", he said. Everyone groaned at the remark.

"Sarah you're with Ella.", and finally he came to my name.

"Samantha you're with Mike", he said very loudly. I suddenly felt the blood rush out of my head. Mike? As in Mike Fulton?

"Remember class, this project is due the Wednesday you come back from break, so meet up with your partner before that, okay? Alright, you may leave.", he said. Everyone was glad it was finally winter break.

As I was walking out of the classroom I felt someone tap on my shoulder. When I turned around, it was Mike. He looked amazing as usual with his blue-black hair, sapphire blue eyes, chiseled features, lean body, and tall height. I was on the verge of saying hi, but the words were caught in my throat.

"Umm, hey Samantha, so since we have to do the project, can you give me your number, so we can set a time and day?", he asked.

"y-yeah sure", I said reluctantly. So much for not sounding stupid. I got out a pen and scribbled my number on his arm.

"And you can just call me Sam.", I said. His eyes twinkled as he smiled at me.

"Okay, well I will call you later Sam, bye.", he said. He walked away and my mood changed in a split second.

When I walked out the building I saw Lola and Cecilia waiting for me. Both of them were smiling so wildly, I was afraid their faces would rip.

"So, I heard you and Mike are partners for the science project.", Lola said.

"Me too!", Cecilia chirpped.

"Guys, it's a science project not a romantic getaway", I said sarcastically.

"You want it to be", Cecilia added making kissing sounds.

"No, he doesn't like me that way, I don't blame him, so just drop it.", I said.

"But.."

"Please just drop it guys", I said finally. Truth was I did like Mike, but he never really noticed me. Plus with his pitbull-like girlfriend, I didn't try to get noticed by him.

When I got home I walked directly upstairs ignoring my brother completely. When I walked into my room I flopped on my bed. I cleared my mind and let myself drift. My eyes began getting heavier and heavier until there was complete darkness.
