The Life (Norminah)

Introduction

Today was Dinah's first day of school at Lakeview High. She didn't have any friends because she just moved to New York. She was wondering what her new school would look like, be like, and smell like. She wondered a lot of things today.

"Dinah, honey are you ready to go?", Dinah's mother asked. "Yes mom.", Dinah said before she went downstairs. "Hurry up and get in the car.", her mom said. Dinah grabbed a piece of toast and got in the car.

I wish I could've stayed in California, I don't like it here. There's way to much noise. Dinah said to herself. "Alright, do you have everything?", Dinah's mom asked. Dinah nodded. She started up the car and drove to school.

"Bye, mom!" "Bye, Dinah!" Dinah walked into Lakeview Highschool. When she walked in everyone looked at her. When she saw she said, "You wanna look at me huh? You better stop before I give you a Polly beat down! I'm not scared, my aunt is principal.

When she said that everyone quickly turned away. Dinah nodded to herself, "That's what I thought." Dinah's phone vibrated. When she went to check it she bumped into someone. "Sorry.", they both said in unison. They both helped each other pick up their papers.

Dinah looked at the girl in awe. She had dark brown eyes and hair, she was wearing a Beyonce shirt with some blue washed out jeans. "I'm Dinah.", Dinah said. "Normani", the girl said. "I know. I'm a big fan.", Dinah said. "Thanks.", Normani said.

"Nice shirt.", Dinah said. "Thanks again." The bell rung. "Well, bye.", Normani said. "Bye.", Dinah said. She sure is Finah. Hey! Her names Dinah, and she's Finah. I never knew I was so funny. Normani said as she walked to class.
