Chapter 24 Dont Look At Him

Alexs pov

I started walking up the stairs towards Pete's room quietly so he wouldn't notice me,the room across us was Bronx still asleep I swear that little boy could sleep at day if he could but today he wouldn't be sleeping that long since its his birthday.I opened the door to our room and I smiled once I saw Pete's sleeping figure wrapped around the warm blankets the more I stared at him the more it reminded me of someone else,but ive been happier these days since Pete asked me out and we also had our first date which was here in the kitchen and Pete cooked food but not long did Bronx came to join us which didnt bothered me at all..

I sat down right next to Pete as I heard him snoring and I almost laughed at his cuteness,i shook his shoulder and whispered his name "Alex stop its sunday let me sleep" he groaned as he went back to sleep again "Oh alright sure I bet you haven't forgotten Bronxs birthday" I said as i watched as he immediately sat up and rubbed his eyes attempting to wake up faster "Its his birthday already?!" I nodded my head and smiled."Damn well im gonna take a quick shower so we can wake him up" he kissed me and ran straight to the bathroom.

Pete and I began to get out of the car with Bronx following us up ahead,earlier in the morning we surprised him with a small blue cake and he woke up super excited today  wondered where we were taking him well we were making our way to chucke cheese since his mother arranged a party there. "Alright were here little man"Pete said as he began to laugh at Bronx as  he began to get a lot more excited.

"Pete at last you arrived where were you?!" Ashley said already giving me a glare "We were getting Bronx ready calm down" Pete tried to say as they began to discuss luckily I told Bronx to go and play with his friends meanwhile his parents began to almost get in a fight and I know that she was also talking about me now that im living with Pete and that he didnt tell her that I was living there,believe I would also be like that if I had a kid.

Apparently Ashley was also pissed cause more people began to come to the party  "Hello bitches were back!!"my eyes widened at the sudden word of bitch what kind of lunatic would say that at a kids party?! "What the fuck Brendon this is a kid's party and you barge in like that?" Pete whispered trying to not angry.I looked over to Brendon and saw the entire members of Panic!,Paramore and Fall Out Boy.My eyes once again widen as I saw "Patrick" I whispered as I kept looking at him we both looked at each other but he quickly teared his gaze away from mine and I couldn't help but still feel guilty by the thing that happened like a year ago.

"Yeah whatever we all decided to crash Bronxs party! Hey I havent been to this place since I was four" Brendon grinned as they all stepped inside since they were blocking the front door and I also tried not to laugh as I saw a few parents look at them mostly Brendon since he cursed."Hey man long time no see! Alex you look great" he said while giving me a bone crushing hug "Where's Bronx?" He  most to himself "Bronx come say hi to your uncle Brendon!!" Brendon yelled excited which caused Bronx to run away from him.

Pete and the rest were talking while I sat alone in a table and a person sat in front of me "You okay?" I looked up and met Hayleys eyes "Just a little I guess im surprised by seeing him again" she nodded her head understanding "Remember that you always have me for a friend and advice" I gave her a smile which wasn't enough "Come on I want you to come with me and talk and right after we'll chase Bronx!" She grabbed my hand making me follow her to another table.I swear Hayley can make anyone's day upside down really quick  with her cheery self.

The day went by rather quickly and Pete got in a fight with his ex cause she began to complain how the place was so crowded and that only her family was supposed to be invited me and  didnt approve of me staying in Pete's house with his son also so she decided to take her son with her which made Pete sad since Bronx was crying saying that he wanted to stay with his dad  I which made Ashley even angrier than she was.

Patrick right now figured out that Pete and I are dating thanks to Brendon with his big mouth I just wanted to punch his jaw right now for saying that to him but Brendon talked to me and told me that Patrick was the one who asked.I wonder why he would ask him that its not like he doesnt care about me anymore.that thought wouldn't get out of my mind since we arrived home Itried to tell Pete that eeverything would be okay and wha mattered the most was that bronx had a really good time today.

***Months later****

I was cleaning the house while Pete was in the bedroom for some reason and I heard him talk with someone on the phone curiosity got the best of me and I stopped doing my chore and stood in front of  door while listening to him "Yeah yeah im pretty sure thats a great idea" "Were gonna call it Save Rock And Roll" I furrowed my brows together as I continued to listen "Oh im sure she won't find out" is he seeing someone else was my first thought. The conversation ended and I opened the door forcefully making the door hit a desk near by and making  Pete jump in his spot.

"Who were you talking to and why did you say she wont find out?!" Pete gave out a sigh and rubbed the back of his neck not looking at me "Come on Peter spit it out" I  said using his full name knowing that I was serious "I didnt wanted you to figure it out like this but alright" he stopped and met my eyes now as he spoke "The guys and I talked to each other and Fall Out Boy will be returning we have a few songs coming up now and we need vocals also so I wanted to ask you will you be up for the challenge to come on tour with us again but this time you'll be singing in front of a crowd"My mouth fell wide open with the news the boys finally decided to form the band again and this time they want me to join them.
