CHAPTER 1

KYLIE's POV
Me and Jacob were in his room we were fighting because he was going on a trip for a week and wanted me to come but I said no. "What do you mean "no" he said then he slapped me. It hurt so bad I could feel the tears starting to run. I never wanted to break up with him because I was scared what he would do to me. But today I was going to stand up. "No what Jacob I'm done I'm breaking up with you."what he said you can't break up with me. As I started to walk out he grabbed my wrist. It wasn't hard but as I tried to pull away his grip tighten and it hurt. I finally pulled back and before I ran out of his house I could hear him say "you will regret this KYLIE ROSE ANDERSON! As I got in the car I was crying my wrist hurt from when he crushed them and my cheek hurt from when he slapped me but other then that I was actually relieved. I can't believe i actually did that. I drove home but avoided my parents who were asking me if I were ok. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I was a mess.there was still a mark of his hand on my cheek. And my wrist was red. I put some make up over it and went downstairs. My mom my dad and my little sister Sara were watching a movie in the living room. As soon as they saw me they stood up. They asked me if I was ok and I said I was fine. Then they began to watch the movie again. I went back upstairs to my room. But as I at down on my bed someone walked in it was my 12 year old sister. She saw the look on my face and then sat down next to me. She asked what was wrong? So I said I broke up with Jacob. She asked why? And I said personal reasons. Then she gasped.
SARA'S POV
I was worried for Kylie she looked so sad. Then as I was going to put my arm around her then noticed she had a mark on her cheek. At that I gasped. I pointed to her cheek and asked what happened. She then had wide eyes and started to stutter. I-I wa-was. I stopped her and said did you slap yourself because you broke up with Jacob. At least that's what I thought. She sighed and said yeah. Then I started to leave because I was guessing she needed some time alone but I heard say phew. Which made me curious but I was starving so I decided to go have a snack.
KYLIE'S POV
I was so happy she left I didn't want her finding out about Jacob. She is very protective of me. To make sure always ok. I laughed at that thought. But that thought came to an end when the doorbell rang. I looked out the window and saw Jacobs car. I quickly went downstairs and said its for me. Then she sat back down. I opened the door and sneaked outside and was face to face with Jacob (jake for short) hey Kylie he said in a nervous voice. I wondered why he was nervous. He was hiding something behind his back. I tried to look . But then I looked up at him. He was smiling. He pulled out a beautiful bouquet of flowers they were daisies and tulips my favorite I took them and smiled. Then he said then you have accepted my offer of being my girlfriend again. My smile faded. What? Yeah you have accepted being my girlfr- I cut him off because I knew what he was going to say. I gave him. Back the flowers and said there is no way that I am going to be your girlfriend ever again.i heard him quietly scream in anger. But I was happy that I won't have to suffer anymore. I came in and everyone was looking at me like a what happened? Face. I said what? Like there was nobody out there. They said that i was having a conversation with someone who was it? I said it was Stephanie (bff). They said ok and my mom and dad went to go make dinner. I went upstairs and took a shower. It was so relaxing after what I have been through today. I got out wrapped a towel around me and got dressed after that I texted Steph (Stephanie) that I was going to be at her house at 7:00 she responded after 2 minutes saying I can't because she had a family thing going on. I said ok I'll see you Tomorrow at school then then she ok goodnight I said goodnight back and went downstairs. I ate dinner and told my mom I was going out. I needed to relax. I decided to just drive around town so I did. When I got home it was 8:00 I've been out for 2 hours but I needed it. I was really tired so I decided to go to bed Sara said goodnight and and I said goodnight back and fell asleep.
