Freaks: 4th Chapter

Episode 1 : Seperate ways.

...After killing those who threatened her, Quinn looked down at her unconscious brother, in hope for him to wake up. But a while after, and with her brother not gaining consciousness, she decided that it was best to try and carry him, at least until he wakes up. She looked around to make sure that no one's following them, then she threw his arm around her shoulder and helped him up.

As they took their first steps, a small ball of metal rolled down to her feet with gaz escaping it..

- " Shit! " Quinn cursed her luck.

- " There's no point in running.. Freak! " A voice said from behind.
Quinn wanted to start running, but with her brother holding her back, and the sleeping gaz filling her head.. All she could do was close her eyes and give up to sleep.

Two weeks after vanishing the ancient one, the Élanoar Mansion seemed more at peace. The building looked the same as if nothing has ever happened, but its residence were far from being the same..

- " I have to do this " he gently touched her face " But you should know that i will always love you, no matter what. It's just that, i need time to deal with myself.. with what i've done! "

- " you don't have to do this alone! " her voice shook, and a tear rolled down her cheek. She placed her hand on his and held it tight.

- " Nickki, I almost killed You and Karen! I drowned my hand in Makayla's guts! I injured Kat, Anna and Jesse.. And the worst part was, i enjoyed doing all of it! " he was drowning in guilt, and his thoughts and previous actions were slowly driving him crazy..

- " the only way to deal with what i have done is by distancing myself. Dont worry, I know a pack in Northern Texas, i can crash at their place as long as i want. "

- " I'll miss you.. We all will! "
She looked hurt, And broken..

He packed his bags and was ready to go. The Freaks stood on the wide porch of the manor to leave their goodbyes, with Nickki leading them. She looked blankly at his car as he drove away and out of her sight. Mean while, Makayla was sitting in her room, packing her stuff and getting ready to return to college, and finish the rest of the semester like a normal studient would do.

Anna knocked on her door and entered the room..

- " here you are! "
Makayla kept tucking in her clothes inside the bag sitting on her bed.

- " So.. Jackson just left.. "
She ignored what Anna said, minding her own business.

- " You didn't come to say goodbye.. "

- " Ann- ! "

- " I know, I know.. It's just, he's your bestfriend! "

- " He looked me right in the eye and stabbed me with his claws! " She said furiously stated " how do you expect me to talk to him after what he had done?! "

- " Em, You're talking to the person who killed Katherine to help you out.. How do you expect us to live with ourselves if we don't move on? I mean, Kat's not dead, thankfully and nor is she my nemesis.. She knew that she was dangerous back then and had to be stopped! And You.. You shouldn't be blaming Jax, Em.. He never meant for any of this to happen! He was a victim, Just like the rest of us! At times like these, We should stick together, not fall apart! " She paused " But, i did't come here to lecture you, I just wanted to check up on you! "

- " I'm fine Anna. " Makayla lied, now with guilt filling her guts.

But Anna felt like something was bothering her, so she closed the door and sat next to her,on the bed..

- " You know we're still gonna see each other right? Even though you're leaving and i basically just got here.. we will still see each other.. We'll find time! "
Makayla was disappointed, but Anna's words cheered her up. She looked at Anna with a void in her heart, and hugged her.

Few hours after Jackson leaving, Nickki & Makayla's Cab arrived,  it was time for them to leave this forsaken place, filled with countless unfortunate events..

- " Is that it? " Karen asked after putting the last bag inside the trunk of the taxi.

- " Yep. So i guess that's the part where we're supposed to start crying?! " Nickki Joked, but to her surprise, Karen was looking at her with tears filling her eyes..

- " Kare! " She ran to her and hugged her tight.

- " Promise you'll take of each other?! " Karen asked them both before leaving.

- " Always! " Makayla answered looking at Nickki with a smile on her face.

- " Remember don't get too close to boys.. " Karen Shouted at them as they got in the car " Focus on your learning AND DON'T PARTY ALOT! "

- " Kare, they'll be okay.. Calm down! " Haydon said as he kissed her cheek

- " I feel so scared for them! "

- " You sound so hot when you're scared, you know that?! " He kept kissing her neck.

- " Ugh gross! " Kat left, disgusted.

- " Haydon! " Karen whispered " stop.. " She felt shy, still she gave him a scandalous smile..

The Next Morning, Anna woke up, took a hot shower, got out of her room and went downstairs to the kitchen where Karen was preparing some pancakes, And Haydon was reading the newspaper..

- " Three men killed on the rooftop of a nightclub in downtown Levington.. " Haydon read to Karen.

- " Good thing the kids left this place! " She answered.

- " Morning! " Anna entered the kitchen, grabbed a mug and placed it under the coffee maker while saying..

- " What's trending? "

- " Three homocides in town, Not the first of their kind, that's for sure! "

- " that's odd.. does it say how they were killed? "

- " Each one was found with a hole in his heart! "

- " Ugh! That's a shitty way to go.. Think a Freak did it? "

But Karen was not in the mood to start her day with homocides and murders..

- " How about you eat your pancakes and talk about something a little less gory? "
Haydon obeyed, But Anna was too taken by what Haydon had just informed her, so she left her breakfast, got in her car, And drove to the crime scene..
.. In hope of finding answers!
