Your POV:
"Anything?" Kurapika asks you from his cubical.
"Nothing yet." You reply for the tenth time in the past hour, "I'll tell you when I do."
A few more minutes pass and you still find yourself staring blankly at the computer screen feeling more lost then when you started.
"Anything?" He asks again and this time you let out a huge sigh in slight irritation. You glide away from your computer and out of your cubical to Kurapika's using your rolling chair. His eyes still glued on the screen, but his eyebrows are furrowed in frustration.
"Look Kurapika," You call out, but he still refuses to turn to face you, "We've been looking for information for hours. Obviously information about the troupe is going to be well hidden, even if we use our hunter licenses."
He sighs heavily and leans back. His eyes shut as if he's relaxing them after having them stay open for a long period of time. He finally opens them back up and turns his chair to face you, "Then what do you suggest?"
"I don't know." You start, "Go at it from a different perspective. Maybe stop looking for where the Troupe is, but where they should be."
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"Just come." You say, beckoning him towards your cubical. You drag your mouse along the screen, "They're thieves right? They look for rare objects their leader wants right?" You leave your mouse to hover over the ad you found on the hunter website.
"The Yorknew City Auction?" He asks.
"Think about it. This is the place were the rarest of the rare are sold, where people can sell anything-"
"It's the perfect place for a thieve to hit!" He says, finishing your sentence.
"The only problem is that, that auction is for the wealthy and the mafia. Anyone who's anyone attends, to flaunt their status. Even though we have money on your licenses, that's no where near their wealth. Plus there, everyone knows everyone. They'll be able to tell if you're not one of them from a mile away."
"Hold on a minute." He says, swiveling back to his computer.
You rest your chin on on your palm and lean against the desk. You knew this was going to be hard, but this is seeming to be impossible. All of a sudden you hear the sounds of printing coming from Kurapika's cubical and you quickly log off your computer and put it to sleep. He come up behind you holding an ad and hands it to you to read.
"Bodyguard and Hireling Agency?" You ask.
"For the rich and Famous." He says with a proud smile on his face, "You said anyone who's anyone will be there."
"And all we have to do is work for them! Odds are their going to use bodyguard when they go. Kurapika you're a genius!"
You jump up and pull him into a hug. He catches you in his arms and chuckles, "We just have to find the place. They didn't put an address."
"It's probably a test to see if your worthy enough to be hired. Only those who can find it stand a chance I guess." You say, holding the paper in front of you again, "We should get started then, the auction is in a few months, but there's still a lot to do."
"Exactly." He grabs your hand and you both dash out of the Internet Cafe to look for leads on the location.
