But their races were meant to be in conflict as after a year a scheming half giant came to settle in Aranna.

He was clever and manipulated the low ranking Utgards and obtained a seat in their High Council. He soon started to poison the other council members against the Agallans and turned the order there into sheer chaos.

He managed to incite Ushnark The Utgard King to go against their treaty which was formed a year ago. But at the same time a human had come to Aranna and went to the Agallan council where he proved his might and wisedom to the Agallans and to Elandir who accepted him as his successor.

He came with three other companions - a Dryad named Myrina who knew of the ancient dryad methods and had met the traveler in her home forest, another was a dwarf called Ugor who was Grandmaster Blacksmith and Champion of the Dwarven City of Dar'Athul and the third was a human, an assassin known by the name of Frenli whom the traveler had defeated and he was travelling with him to attain redemption for all his sins he had committed as an assassin.

The four of them had defeated many monsters and had solved many of the people's problems. The traveler also served King Callahan Hellscream who was the king of the largest human capital on the planet.

The king wished to know whether he could increase his borders nearer to Aranna and start a special commerce trade with the Agallans.

The Half-Giant came to know of this and used it to incite the Utgards and Ushnark. He managed to convince Ushnark to send him as their envoy to engage in talks with the Agallans and the Humans. Ushnark agreed not knowing that this would lead to mass slaughter of the Utgards later.

The Half-Giant met the Traveller and Elandir and expressed the displeasure of the Utgards to not be a part of the trade line. The Traveller humbly accepted his point and told him that he would leave at the soonest to ask the King of this issuse.
