Julian Coleman's P.O.V.

I woke up this morning, feeling sore and drowsy. I didn't catch much sleep after, my phone kept blowing up with irrelevant phone calls and texts from Harley. See? The are the perks of being a sexy player. Note my sarcasm. I rubbed my eyes and stood up from my bed. I watched as Taylor, was already for school. Dressed in a light washed, denim and a turquoise blouse probably made by some famous rich guy. She tied her hair in a perfect ponytail and continued to walk out her room. Yup, I'm definitely late, again. (Is it crazy that I use her as my own personal watch?)

I grabbed a plain white tee, something I always wear and dark washed jeans to wear with them. Not bad. I ran my fingers through my hair and launched down the stairs to grab an apple. I headed into the kitchen to find my mom, lying on the ground with a cigar in her hand and a bottle of vodka in the other. She seemed knocked out but, I walked closer and she was up, well, half awake.

She lifted her chin to look into my eyes, eyes were full of sorrow and loneliness. I frowned, and returned a angered looked towards her.

"Lisa? What the hell, happened to you?" I asked, folding my arms. Notice I call her Lisa, she isn't my mom. She tried to stand on her feet but she couldn't. She looked weak and drunk.

"I-I, couldn't take it. Julian! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, i-i had too. I am lost right now, and I needed this! I'm sorry," she whispered, lying there, looking sick and dismantled. I groaned and walked away from her. She's always, doing that. Getting drunk, doing drugs, just to release her stress. And when I catch her, she says sorry and turns around to do it again. I'd send her to rehab for help but I promised, Sofia, I wouldn't. Lisa is lucky to have Sofia, otherwise, I'd have her out of here long time ago.

"Lisa, I'm leaving. Watch Sofia, if you hurt her I will kill you, even if there's a single scratch on her, God I swear..." I threatened her. She gulped and looked down. I walked away from her and I found, Sofia lying on the sofa in the living room, sleeping. I creeped towards her and kissed her forehead.

"I'll see you later, Sofia," I whispered, before swiftly leaving the house. I shut the door and like every other day, Taylor was miles ahead if me. I serious, need to fix that old piece of junk in the garage. I started to jog towards Taylor. Half way there, I kinda caught this idea of how awkward it might be if I just show up with her. After last night, I'm pretty sure she hates me more, not something new though.

Eh, fuck it.

"Hey, Taylor!" I called after her. She lowly groaned and keep ignoring me. Just like any typical morning with this woman. I touched her shoulder to stop her.

"What now?" She snapped, with a pissed and annoyed looked. I rolled my eyes.

"What's with the attitude? Did someone not get their royal breakfast, served on a golden pig stuff with money?" I joked, folding my arms. She groaned and walked farther ahead. Seriously? She's going to play that game?

"Look, Taylor. I'm sorry about what happened last night. All though, I won't lie your boobs were the highlight of my night. I'm sorry for being a j-je-r- for being me, yeah you get it," I said. She sighed and keep walking. What else's will it take?

"I appreciate the apology but you have nothing to be sorry for. I do, I'm not good enough," she said, vanishing off. I stood there completely stun. Should I feel, regret for what I said last night? For protecting her from me? Did I just make the situation worse?

I care about Taylor, enough to not hurt her. I hope she gets why I said that. Why am I even protecting that annoying, rich nun? I huffed and continued on. Digged my hands into my pockets and huffed. Woman. What can you do with them?
