A different type of Love--Nnoitra FanFic--Chapter 25

*Hitomi's P.O.V*

You sat by the window looking out at the sky. It was getting darker, like it was going to rain. It seemed to you that the Sokyoku was ready. Everyone working on it before had left. 'Pretty soon, they'll come and get me' You thought. A couple minutes later and you were right. The door to the tower open and light poured in. The guards from before walked in and surrounded you as you stood. "It's time" One said. You nodded sadly. You walked with them around you down the path straight to the hill. The place you in the center of the platform. You looked out to the small crowd that was already there. 'I presume these are more Captains...' You thought to yourself. You saw Yamamoto standing at the front."Let's begin!" Yamamoto said. You rose into the air and stopped when the blade was parallel to you. There was a few minutes of peace and silence as you looked out into the horizon. 'I wish I could see Nnoitra and Grimmjow one last time' You thought. A group of Kido Corps unsealed the ropes that held the blade and then there were flames.

*Nnoitra's P.O.V*

You were getting frustrated and angry...very quickly. 'Damn those Soul Reapers for putting way too much stairs on this damn hill' You thought. The hill that you and Grimmjow were trying to get to the top of had so many stairs to it, that it made you think that you were never going to get to the top. "Why don't we just use Soindo?" Grimmjow asked, impatiently. "Because we'll attract Soul Reapers that way" You answered. Just then a massive rise in Spiritual Pressure. You looked up and noticed flames. You stopped running. 'What? Is it starting already?!' You thought, stunned. You didn't think that they'd be ready that quickly. "Nnoitra, we must use Soindo now, if we're to make it in time!" Grimmjow said, panicking. You nodded quickly and use Soindo to get up the rest of the steps.

*Hitomi's P.O.V*

Your view of the darkening sky was blocked by the huge form of a flamed phoenix. Your eyes widened as it seemed that it was eyeing you, like it was alive. Just then there was commotion below you on the ground. You looked away from the flames and saw Nnoitra and Grimmjow running towards the crowd of Captains. Nnoitra looked up and saw you. "Hitomi!" You heard him shout up to you. "Nnoitra!" You shouted back. Just then he vanished and appeared in front of you. "Nnoitra...I'm sor-"
Just then he kissed your lips roughly, interrupting your apologizing. "I don't want to hear that right now" He said, placing a hand your cheek. "Nnoitra..." You said quietly, looking into his eyes. You thought you'd never see his eyes again. Your eyes then glanced over to the phoenix and it was backing up, like it was about to charge. You gasped. "Nnoitra!" You panicked. Nnoitra turned and then you closed your eyes, waiting for darkness.

"Hitomi? You Ok?" You heard Nnoitra whisper. You opened your eyes slowly and saw Nnoitra still in front you. You shook your head slowly as you leaned it over his shoulder. In between Nnoitra and the flames was a man in a black cloak. "It's them! They're back!" Shouted a Captain down below. "How's he stopping the fire?!" Another shouted, amazed. Nnoitra took this time to grab you and pull you out from the Sokyoku's grip. He sat you on top of the beam next to you. "Are you sure your fine?" He asked, concerned. "Yes" You said, still eyeing the cloaked figure. He looked over to watch him too. The cloaked figure turned his head. "You might want to move" He said to Nnoitra. Nnoitra scooped you up and jumped into the air and hovered there as the cloaked figure somehow took control of the flames and used it to destroy the beams thus destroying Sokyoku in the process too. "There. Enough of that" The cloaked figure said. "He destroyed the Sokyoku!" A Soul Reaper shrieked. "Whoa, Whoa, Calm down everybody" Said the Cloaked figure. "I didn't mean to destroy your little firework there. I was just rescuing my sister."

The cloaked figure hovered up towards you. "Hey. Long time no see" He said. "What? Who are you?" You questioned, confused. "Didn't you hear me the first time? I said, your my sister, meaning I'm your brother" He said. "No, No. I heard that part and even though I'm still confused by that...I meant, What's your name?" You clarified. "Oh, My name. It's Axel." He removed his hood and revealed his spiky red hair and his sparkling green eyes. "My name's..." You started. "You don't think I remember my own sister's name? Your name's Hitomi and I'm sorry that we're reuniting this way" He said. "How do you know my name? I grew up in Hueco Mundo...." You trailed off. Question after question barreling through your head. Suddenly what seemed like a  thousand soul reapers surrounded you in the air. "Release the prisoner!" One shouted. "Die Arrancar!" Another yelled. "I'll think I'll explain everything once these Reaper guys let us go" Axel said. Axel turned towards the Soul Reapers. A captain appeared in front of the crowd. It was Captain-Commander Yamamoto and he obviously was unpleased by what just occurred. "Tell me, cloaked one. Why did you come and interrupt us?" He said. "Didn't you hear me? I said She's my sister. I'm not going to let her die." Axel said, shaking his head. "But it's clear that she doesn't know you. How can we know you are telling the truth?" He asked. Axel sighed. "I'll guess I'll just have to explain this to everyone....Alirhgt! Everyone listen up, I don't want to have to repeat this twice." Axel took a deep breath and opened his mouth.
